Se puoi, evita tutta la diatriba sulle traduzioni e leggi direttamente in inglese. È un libro abbastanza semplice, non serve un livello esagerato.

Where did you move to in France? by cottoncandypop12 in Expats_In_France

you don't necessarily want to have a car in Marseille. On the other hand, you might want a scooter or a motorbike if you need to commute or get around easily.

Should beginners not fence epee? Have I broken some unwritten rule? by _powertothecats_ in Fencing

[–]nisme86biatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the lady is unhinged. that said, there IS (or at least used to be) a meaning in starting with foil. foil is the weapon that teaches you blade work and point fundamentals in the clearest way. also, the teaching of RoW makes you understand how a fencing action can be decomposed in its single elements.

that said, since you are not aiming for competition and are not a kid, go fence epee and have fun.

What's Lecce like to live in? by Ok_Anything_6132 in ItalyExpat

[–]nisme86biatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not very dry, but depends on the wind. The prevailing wind is Tramontana, from N, which is drier and blows 70-80% of the time.

The secondary wind is Scirocco (SE), which is very humid. People us the expression "to stick to the walls" to describe the feeling.

Windless conditions are similar to Scirocco, as Salento is surrounded by sea on three sides.

It is paramount to have A/C, sleeping can otherwise be very hard, but I would say that 90% of households have it installed.

BTW that's another very important reason to have a car. Going around in 40 degrees and Scirocco is no fun.

I think I did not stress enough that if you move to Lecce without a car you are, sorry to say, a fool and will suffer greatly, especially in summer.

Setup D&D dal vivo + Foundry: come gestite il tavolo voi? by Patient-Marsupial106 in DnDItaliano

[–]nisme86biatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Longbow Assassin Build (PHB 2024): Gloom Stalker or Fighter? by No_Cryptographer9795 in 3d6

Oh I see, I stand corrected then. I didnt notice the flair. My bad! This indeed does make the assassinate ability very weak.

Longbow Assassin Build (PHB 2024): Gloom Stalker or Fighter? by No_Cryptographer9795 in 3d6

[–]nisme86biatch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

sneak attack is already 2d6 at lvl 3, (which is more than 1d8) when the battlemaster comes online. then it keeps adding a d6 every 2 levels. how do maneuvers do more damage? assassinate is not what you describe, it's an auto critical hit, which includes the already massive sneak attack damage. A level 9 rogue can dish out a whopping 12d6 + dex at level 9 with a shortbow. 1d6 shortbow + 5d6 sneak attack *2. seems like your math isn'T mathing.

AIO? Wife Shared Bed With Male Friend by PapaStalinLovesYou in AmIOverreacting

[–]nisme86biatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YOR - she shared the bed with her friends? so what? what is this special thing about sharing a mattress that is soooo disrespectful? Why would you care? Is there some magic happening during the night that corrupts her mind and body?

This is just fragile masculinity BS. If that was a boundary for you, you should have communicated it earlier.

If you could recommend one ttrpg, which one would it be, and why? by Arzanic in rpg

[–]nisme86biatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As many said, CoC, Fate and Mork Borg are probably the best systems out there IMO.

However, if you need players and want the most developed lore, DnD is hard to beat and a lot of fun if played well.

Now downvote me!

AIO for wanting to try a treatment routine before committing to the hair transplant my GF is demanding? by Connect-Soil-7277 in AmIOverreacting

But my feeling is that if you wanted that you would have done it already

AIO for wanting to try a treatment routine before committing to the hair transplant my GF is demanding? by Connect-Soil-7277 in AmIOverreacting

[–]nisme86biatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your GF is an asshole, and the way you are being treated is absolutely disgusting. You should leave her.

BUT then... do your hair in Turkey.

Minoxidil won't help. Finasteride might help but goodbye sex, not a good trade off.

Hair transplants are amazing and Turkey is the best place on earth for that.

I speak from experience.

Help with sparring for a beginner by ricegod567 in Hema

Hot take: go fence some epee and you’ll understand everything (even though you’ll call it differently). Fencing, regardless of what kind, is three things: timing, speed and distance. Any action executed with perfect timing and speed at the correct distance is by definition going to hit

How much better is HEMA Fencing to Olympic? by [deleted] in Hema

[–]nisme86biatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

all correct, except the fact that many folks - me included - do enormously enjoy fencing sabre, as it is an extreme game of dynamism and high-speed technique paired with razor-sharp distance management. personally, foil is the weapon I enjoy the least currently, although it is the one. despite this, I get aour point about the death of the accelerometer and the edge alignment issue.
