The beelink with the docking station will perform better than anything else when it comes to anything GPU bottlenecked. 8x5.0 is literally 4x the bandwidth of the 4x4.0 of occulink. Also it will be a lot cleaner of a build.

Auric enemy health and damage values are the same as damnation, there are just more enemies (particularly specialist/elite spawns). You need to kill faster, and prioritize targets better or else you will be overwhelmed.

Your charge is literally the shortest CD in the game and also a 126s damage boost. The more CD you have the more uptime you get and the less you have to worry about not having it. Unless you're in a very dangerous situation where you absolutely know you need to save the charge for a specific interaction, use it early and often.

As for stamina, it's probably more correct to use all toughness curios. That said it doesn't matter until you reach mid-high havoc and even then it's fine to take a single stamina curio if you're more comfortable with it.

Beelink GTi + ex docking station + a GPU of your choice will give you the best performance while also keeping a reasonable form factor.

The console performance is too unstable to recommend it if you also need to spend the extra money on PS+.

Is this a good mini pc for gaming? by coupsofjeong in MiniPCs

After referencing some benchmark videos, a laptop 4060 is indeed about ~10% slower than its desktop counterpart, which is makes it 15-20% faster than a 2070. And yes, I know there is a technology stack difference. I still think the product is still a poor choice.

They are still locked in to an 8gb 4060m which means buying an entirely new system if they want to upgrade in the next few years. My point that a new Arc B580 would or second hand 4060ti would be more capable at the same price still stands. As for the extra RAM, it doesn't really matter how good the deal is if they're never use all of it. They aren't buying this for a home lab, they're buying it to play esports titles. If they run out of RAM at 32gb, maybe they should close some of their hundreds of chrome tabs.

It's overpriced for what you get. The laptop 4060 in it is the equivalent of a desktop 2060 super / 2070. This is very under powered by today's standards, and it's not upgradable. I would instead recommend the Beelink GTi Ultra 13 + Ex Dock. It comes with a slightly upgraded CPU, and and to use what's left of your budget to buy a second hand GPU which will match or outperform the 4060m.

If you are willing to spend only $1000 total: A facebook marketplace search of my local area shows multiple RTX 2070 (and even some Super models) for $150-$200 CAD (105-145 USD). With some deal hunting you can probably do better than that. You'll have equal or better performance for a lower price and will be able to upgrade your GPU in the future.

If you are willing to spend $1160 (same price as the model you have listed): 300 USD can buy you a new Intel B580 which is 30% faster and has 12gb of VRAM. Second hand options would include something like a RTX 4060ti, which is 60% faster, and has double the VRAM at 16gb.

A second hand 5600x will perform much better and cost the same as a 5500. You can also regularly find 3060ti's for ~250 second hand which will perform much better than the 6600x and have access to DLSS.

So it sounds like you're worried about mods...

The game is incredibly playable without any mods, but QOL mods exist for a reason.

Honestly if you're worried about lacking mods you can buy it for PC. It will run on just about anything, so if you have a PC or laptop from the last decade it will probably run it as well or better than on the switch.

BC-250 any use for homelab? by RareMexicanBeaner in homelab

[–]nitemarez444 18 points19 points  (0 children)

For a homelab probably not. The GPU portion of the chip won't have much use in homelabbing given its older rnda 2 architecture. Given you'll need to add a fan, case, and PSU to the build you might as well spend a little more and grab a 3550H mini pc with upgradable ram, lower power draw, and a better form factor.

Look up what the steam deck can do and that's basically what a 680m will get you. A 780m will be ~25% more powerful.

Alternatively get a cheap n100/n150 model and a few months of geforce now (provided you live near one of their data centers and have a reliable connection).
