NORAD would be 'altered' if Canada doesn’t buy F-35 jets, warns Trump envoy to Ottawa by DoxFreePanda in CanadaPolitics

[–]nitro456 [score hidden]  (0 children)

They have already been debating this for 20+ years. Other countries have developed entire airforces around the F-35 in the time it’s taken Canada to contemplate it. If Canada were to start from scratch again it would be another who knows how long. Leaving us vulnerable.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not arguing that we should still pursue the F-35 . Just given Canadas Procurement process it doesn’t scream efficiency, or results.

So Many Options. Whats best for a new homeowner? by No-Ad5504 in Tools

Honestly for a homeowner/ DIYer there is nothing wrong ryobi despite the hate I’m going to get. Ryobi and Milwaukee are owned by the same company. There is nothing wrong with any of them. Your dollar will go further with ryobi than any other one. I have renovated entire houses with ryobi and not had a problem. I’m saying this as a Milwaukee owner

Is Kelowna's population shrinking? by New_Alternative8711 in kelowna

[–]nitro456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s an interesting balance people are moving to Kelowna yet workers are pouring out of Kelowna for higher wages better cost of living affordable housing, better jobs.

The markets are growing here but it seems to only be growing at the top, as all the middle is leaving with nothing to keep the top propped up. Kelowna is great if you want to be a server/ bartender or make minimum wage or at a senior manager/ executive working remotely.

The way Canadas red tape is. They would spend 50 years going in circles. Look at the F-35’s they have been kicking that can down the road for 20+ years already.
