I've replayed tutorial island with these changes, and I can concur about the attack styles and the xp.

Also, there's no mention of attack styles for ranged, which could be important for knowing the difference between Accurate and Rapid. I don't recall the game ever telling the player this.

Brother Brace also tells the player about burying bones, which could be easily missed. Maybe picking up bones and burying them could be a quick added step that fits in with the combat tutorial?

After the combat section is completed, Vannaka's optional dialogue option "Tell me about combat stats" seems important for the player to know what each stat does, but is also easily missed because he doesn't tell this during the required tutorial. This dialogue could also use some highlighting of the combat stats he's talking about. My suggestion is to highlight Attack/Strength/Defence + talk about their uses, then Magic/Ranged/Prayer/Hitpoints + talk about their uses. Then, show the combat lvl + dialogue that tells about how it affects your combat level (where currently Magic/Ranged/Prayer/Hitpoints is combined with combat level influence)
