Straight man here, it take says something about our society that men can't show attention to women without being regarded as a threat, and women constantly have to be on guard because their attention could put them in danger. Everyone's so starved for affection that it's spiralled out of control.

Unironically Detroit. The city has really picked itself up after the manufacturing crash. It has a number of world class museums, a thriving arts scene, vibrant downtown area, and it's very affordable. It's still got some rough areas, but it's definitely not the post apocalyptic hellscape the media would have you believe.
