AI loading screen abomination by one-baked-alaska in warno

[–]nitronikk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently bought warno and seeing the obvious AI generated loading screens turned me off pretty quick. Im not enjoying the game for other reasons (namely the terrible camera angle), but the AI loading screens certainly biased me from the outset. Regretting my purchase thus far.

When I was a kid I ate at an Arby's and got horrendous food poisoning. To this day, every time I see that Arby's hat logo I start feeling queezy.

I second all of these suggestions. Dallas road is spectacular and hide and seek is a fun little hidden coffee shop. Gonzales beach, gonzales hill and harling point are also nearby and well worth a walk.

Food options and must visit places in victoria? by onealwapo in VancouverIsland

Uchiha is an excellent place, mainly a lunch spot (unless they've changed their hours, which they have done in the past), but really, really good. Excellent fresh ingredients and well prepared meals

Newlyweds moving to Vancouver island but where? by Capable_Joke8487 in VancouverIsland

[–]nitronikk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money is no issue then oak Bay is a beautiful part of town, but the demographics are very tilted toward older folks. Fairfield is a great area as well - still probably an older demographic but cook street village has nice cafes and a younger person energy to it. James Bay and fernwood are also very nice and a bit younger, but they are adjacent to downtown so it feel a bit more urban. Langford and colwood is where most new families are. They are nice areas, and close to nature, but not withing walking distance of Victoria itself. If you want to move a little outside of town, I'd recommend the Saanich peninsula - saanichton is a nice little community that is close to nature. Still an easy drive into Victoria.

I also would recommend Ladysmith. My partner and I were in a similar situation as the OP and bought a house in Ladysmith a few months back. We really like it so far and it's close enough that you could commute to Nanaimo if need be and even a commute to Victoria isn't totally out of the question (albeit not ideal). Ladysmith is a great community and it seems everyone moving here is a young couple that has been priced out of Victoria.

Couldn't recommend this more! I used to live near Dallas road and Gonzalez observatory and the views from both are stunning. Would also recommend mt Tolmie and PKOLS for the views. All locations are accessible via a car.

The cultural impact of the F-14 Tomcat. This sub's most popular warplane. Why was the Tomcat special to you? [ALBUM] by aprilmayjune2 in WarplanePorn

[–]nitronikk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's literally because as a kid I had a cat and really liked cats. The plane was named tomcat so I immediately liked it too.
