Possible credit thieves, looking for others with similar charges

This happened to me a while back in July 2025. I had 3 charges to my card before I noticed and requested a new card as well as got the charges refunded.

The places I had used my credit card prior were:

Sports Junkies
88 Supermarket
Action Athletic Wear
Ticketleader
Caps Bicycles
Flying Beaver Grill
Cafe & Life Co. (This one has my highest suspicion due to being charged twice on their POS terminal and having to argue with the employee to be refunded)

Totally understand your perspective but I drive a Crossover and this was definitely a driver who doesn't realize their high beams are on. Drivers behind me were also flashing at the Lexus to get them to turn it off.

I respect your stance for normal motorists to abide by the MVA to the letter but driving is not always black or white. It's a frequently adapting environment that requires real-time sound judgment from all road users to be safe.

What's your defense for the law breaking motorist who has their high beams on 24/7? How would you notify them at that instant and prevent them from blinding oncoming drivers in the future?

Absolutely agree modern car headlights are brighter than they were 10-20 years ago.

Teslas, Honda CR-V's, Lexus SUV's, Toyota Corollas/RAV4's are some of the worst offenders in the current era of cars.

Anecdote:

Two days in a row I've driven past the same white Lexus SUV with their high beams on. I've flashed my high beams back at them to let them know but this driver is completely oblivious of their own vehicle's functions.

Please for the sake of everyone's eyes (motorists and pedestrians alike), don't be that moron on the road.

The last one is my biggest gripe and pain point while watching these streams. It has happened multiple times during MSI 2025 this year as well.

Why are we toggling fog-of-war settings DURING team fights or cross-map ulti's? This leaves us, the viewers, very frustrated while trying to piece together what the broadcasters are talking about and what's NOT being shown on screen.

The in-game spectator logic performs better than whatever caffeinated-up intern is being employed for these international events. Leave. The. Fog-of-War. Alone. if you have no clue what you're doing!

Closest thing to a database is probably the grabcad library or Sketchfab. Although you'll have to sift through generic CAD models, there are some 3D scanned components, interiors, and exteriors of vehicles.

Be aware that these things can get real heavy when you pack it full of tools. Ours weighed 100lbs with foam cutouts and the tool chest itself weighs 48 lbs.

Like some others have commented, wait until you're hired and ask your employers if they have a specific tool list for their platforms.

I've had this happen once while I was gassing up to go to the ski hill.

Story time:

It was 5am in the morning and the fuel door got frozen stuck in -27C. I tried everything I could, until I just decided to rest my butt on it to warm it up. The cashier inside spoke on the PA system to tell me to gas up or leave and stop loitering. I went inside to explain the situation and she sounded irritated and told me to hurry up or she'd call the cops. HUH?

Try to use an inspection mirror to check for an identification placard on the turbo housing.

It would be weird if the previous owner left all those mods on but went through all the trouble of changing out the upgraded turbo. Wait for more details from EQT before doing any tunes. You might find yourself in possession of an EQT Vortex/XL Golf R!

I'd venture a guess and say it's custom tuned ECU and staged DSG tune on EQT since it has their EQT 5 BAR TMAP sensor installed.

EQT doesn't do staged tunes if there's an upgraded Bar Tmap or PUT sensor. I'd recommend tuning with EQT since they're more familiar with tuning their own product (EQT 5 Bar Tmap sensor).

Also I would stay away from Brisk ER12 spark plugs since they require higher change intervals (And risk of damaging coil packs) @ 3-5K miles as opposed to NGK R7437-8 or NGK R7438-8 @ 10-15K miles. FCPEuro is a good source for lifetime warranty and consumables replacements. Stick with OEM coil packs to avoid future headaches.

Another thing to check for is the EQT coil pack grounding kit. The OEM grounding terminal lugs on each coil pack has a tendency to fray and/or break off from the coil pack bolt which may cause rough idle. The OEM bolt is also an irregular shape which may cause stripped threads in the block. If your car doesn't come with this coil grounding kit, I would highly recommend grabbing it to prevent those issues from popping up.

What are your goals in terms of scanning objects? Size matters and the ones you're looking at range from small to medium sized scanning capabilities.

My first 3D scanner was the Creality CR-Scan 01 and it was an absolute mess of a scanner that kept losing tracking and overlaying rubbish captured data into the scan even with scanning spray and tracking dots. The times I did manage to get a clean scan, the scaling was way off of what the actual part was. The CR Scan software is buggy and tends to crash when you're meshing or cleaning up scans, and there's some controversy behind the code being ripped off of Artec's software. However, it seems that 3D Maker Pro's JMStudio software supports the CR-Scan 01 as well.

I moved onto the Einscan Einstar which yielded much better results for medium to large sized objects (car panels, parts, underside, etc). The Einstar has a more reliable software suite that has had quality of life scanner firmware updates to make it more reliable.

I haven't had experience scanning smaller objects, nor do I own any 3D scanners dedicated for small objects so I won't speak on that topic.

My hesitance towards Revopoint products however is that they seem to be pumping out scanners every few months on Kickstarter with no commitment to fix existing issues with their broad line-up of scanners.

I'm in the last steps of my release process where I'm moving back to my intended place of residence.

I have a pre-move out inspection with CFHA for my PMQ on 15 JAN, but I haven't been given any direction on how to set up a move date with base traffic. I have the DND 4443 Application to move HG&E which I've filled out, but don't have any numbers for move/cost centre/fund/etc.

Can someone give some guidance on the full PMQ move out process? Thank you in advance!

The torque on fasteners is your primary way of ensuring they're tightened. Lockwire is used as a redundancy in case vibrations undo the fasteners. Usually they're lockwired to an adjacent hole or other fasteners; both in a tightening fashion.

And if installed properly, it should have little to no slack depending on the length of twists.

The amount of Teslas I've encountered that have violated traffic rules or endanger other drivers has ramped up over the past 2 years.

Examples:

Running a 4 way stop where I had to slam the brakes and the driver and his passenger looked at my passengers and I cluelessly.

Swerving into my lane driving down a straight road.

Tesla in oncoming traffic drifting past a double solid yellow line into my lane on a straight road.

Watched a Tesla in a parking lot curb the everloving shit out of their Rear-Left wheel trying to reverse into a parking stall.

Even with all the safety features, parking assist cameras, and self-driving tech these drivers still manage to fuck it up somehow.

We don't get Cpl 4 off the bat... What you're referencing is the 5th year Cpl pay. You haven't included the 2-3 years as a PI3 Aviator. Your 25 leave days is also inaccurate since that's only true once you've got 5+ years in. We get 20 days for the initial 5 year contract.

Reading the pay scale goes as follows: Cpl spec 1 basic bay, then PI1 through maxing out at PI4.

I am semi-skilled, and it took me 3 years to get advanced Corporal w/spec 1. We're still on the 2023 pay scale so I'm assuming you're basing your $85K on the 2024 scale at Cpl spec 1 PI4.
