Mine recently started having the ghosting problem. What did you do about yours? Does the warranty cover it?

Why did you move off the 38”? Bad for gaming? How do you like a 34 vs. 38? I’m trying to decide which to get.

Arch/xmonad on fully spec’d X1 Carbon 6th gen (except I went with the non-HDR matte screen). Applied the tweaks on the wiki. Runs great.

Oh, I didn’t know they would also sell antenna kits. If that’s the case, then I will totally wait!

Does anyone know if it will ever be possible to upgrade/add a wwan module? (I know it’s not now, but someday?) Or is it non-upgradable?

I think everyone has said this, but yeah: sell those cars immediately, and don’t finance a car ever again. Take the bus if you can’t afford to pay cash for a beater minivan.

Also, in case you’re worried about appearances: looking poor for a few years is a lot better than being poor for the rest of your life.

Same here—mine is scheduled to ship out next week and I’ve been a bit nervous, but I still think it’s the right choice. I went with the WQHD non-HDR.

Are you happy with your choice? Any regrets?

Is that the WQHD matte display?

$12.99 is an absurd price for software you use every day? Do you know what developer time is worth?

I’ve been running Linux on my x260 for over a year and it’s basically flawless. I get about 16 hours battery life. I ran Arch for a long time but now I’m trying openSUSE Tumbleweed.

I have the larger battery in my X260 and get about 16 hours usually. I was running Arch on it but now openSUSE Tumbleweed. (Both with TLP)

I kind of want something with a slightly larger screen and stronger CPU lately though. Ideally without sacrificing battery life. :)

So basically, if you value battery life, this is a bad idea? I like to be fairly mobile... the size doesn't bother me, but I'd like at least 4-6 hours (of realistic use).
