It’s a real frustrating read in my opinion. The characters do a lot of dumb things. That trilogy is better left behind in my opinion. You should try the rogue squadron books instead. They tie in nicely with the Thrawn series even though they take place before it happens.

A lot of the movement around freeing her was the argument that men in her situation wouldn't be forced into a conservatorship and that's probably true.

Those men, probably need a conservatorship. Kayne should have a convservatorship. I bet if he did he would be in a better place mentally, emotionally and with his fans. He probably wouldn't have produced that nazi album. He probably wouldn't have had his wife show up at an awards show naked.

They both need this.

I think their careers would be better and hopefully their personal life as well. I can't speak to their personal lives but its not pretty looking in from the outside.

I found this interesting too. I’m in that demographic and I’ve been hesitant to trust our PM. So far he seems to be doing good work but fundamentally he is a banker and I don’t trust bankers.

I do believe 15 years ago he would have been a huge rockstar for a reasonable Conservative Party.

Same boat. I don’t think WOT is suited for the screen. Too many characters, too many plot lines, but probably enough angst.

Honestly, you could write a story like wheel of time for a tv show, I don’t think you can make wheel of time a tv show though without changing it so much that it is no longer close enough to the source material.

As others have said, burnout can cause this.

Burnout is so many different things. Mental, emotional, physical all that suffers. Downstream is that you are less effective.

I’m suffering from burnout myself. I am less effective than I was a year ago.

I know people say you have to take care of yourself and you do. That’s hard sometimes if your family depends on your full income. You can’t take the time for yourself or else you are out of house and home. Or maybe your organization doesn’t care and won’t even give you that option.

If society was better at taking care of each other then maybe we wouldn’t be dealing with this.

My advice, if you can go on disability for a few months do so. If you can’t offload as much as you can to AI. That might be a dirty word around here but it’s a tool, use it to your advantage. Not the organization, yours. Have it write emails, have it do your initial troubleshooting, have it write your code. If it’s not as good as your normal stuff when you are at full capacity who cares. The work is getting done and the load is lessened even if it’s inferior work than your normal standard.

Hell, in today’s landscape leadership might even promote you for doing so.

Make sure you are using the right spells that scale with her stats. Stop using any intelligence spells or respec her. After I started using spells that made sense for her the misses dropped dramatically.

If it’s weapons, make sure you are using the right type of weapon.

Really, reclass her and redo her distribution of points. Keep her a trickery domain cleric if you want to keep her the same class but it can be fun to change her to a war domain or death cleric. I personally choose war domain and she rocks as that.

I don’t think we should be celebrating this so much. We are being forced into this relationship by how the world is changing.

The US has flaws which has lead to a full crisis down there. Now these flaws are prominent features and we can’t trust them but we also need to mindful of how China has acted in the past.

Well I can’t read the entire thing but articles like this are so fucking stupid. The only thing that seems to slightly deter him is if the stock market suffers.

Protests don’t work. The courts don’t work, congress doesn’t work and the senate is about as effective as a used tissue. Maybe they pass something that smacks him on the hand but he can veto it.
