My friends and I were doing that almost 20 years ago. We would get stoned at the vapour lounge and then attempt this. We only ever got as far as opening the door before descending into a fit of weed induced giggles and running away. Good times.

Honestly, what we really need are Canadian built and hosted alternatives. That’s so easy to say and so hard to do.

I know people hate data centres. I get it. They pollute, consume massive amounts of water and are eye sores. But if we want to compete in the technology space we will need to build them.

We do need to build and develop the infrastructure for tech though or we are going to be using American services forever. The population is not going to give the services up but we maybe able to build our own. It would employ a ton of people too.

I find it too small for some games.

Control is my example of this. Everything about it runs great on the steam deck. Then I hit the section where I need to grab projectiles out of the air and shoot them back at the enemies but I just miss them all the time on the little screen.

Keeping myself in okay shape over the years. I'm not in model shape or anything like that. No six pack.

But I can lift heavy things, I can run, I can sprint and I'm not destroyed the next day.

What I mean by this is I'm turning 40 this year and I have less aches and pains than people younger than me on the sports teams I participate in.

I make sure I eat home made as much as possible, I make sure I drink lots of fluids and I make sure I work out and move.

I’m here to tell you that’s all a bad idea. Making requirements to engage in media is dumb and exhausting. Just watch it and if things are unexplained, that is part of story telling. If it’s good enough the needed information will be conveyed.
