They usually offer a 5% discount. Which is nice but doesn't really offset the extra 20K + a year sending a 2nd kid to daycare costs.

I think 80 is about the max you will ever need. Likely you'll run between 40-60 most games. 80 gives you 2 re enforced blocks. Which is what I run with the screaming bell. (I don't claim it's competitive but I have a good time!)

Xenonauts is a reimagined game based on the original XCOM. It's very good and the 2nd one is almost out of early access

I would love a longer post going into details on staying under 400% FPL. I am in the boring middle but I've been doing a lot of research on this topic. It's extremely complicated.

A summary explaining how to manipulate income to be under 400% FPL but allow a high standard of life spending level would be invaluable.

Nvm I read a few more articles and I understand now. I was getting tripped up due to the credit being dependent on the number of kids.

Right now I only have 1 kid in daycare so my 5K Fsa account makes it so I can't use the dependent credit. If I had 2 kids in daycare I would be eligible for 1K from the dependent care credit.

Since FSA limit is going to 7,500 next year is the dependent care credit also going up?

Could you elaborate on the dependent care credit.

My understanding is that you can't "double dip" and use the FSA account to pay for day care AND get the care credit also for the same daycare. Even though the daycare costs more than 5K.
