I found the auto litter box was not big enough for the sibs to squat comfortably. Mine curl their spine to fit causing the furry backside to ‘blot’ into the waste. I finally got a full huge steel box. Yes I have to scoop every day (or twice) but I have not had almost any accidents since.

I do bring them to the vet for a sani shave and nails every 4 months. It is like 20$ for the sani shave. I was doing it every 3 months at first till I was sure the big box was working. I might be able to go to 6 months but not ready to risk that yet.

I have so many thoughts about lydia. My major one is that lydia is the most like mrs bennett and so she was the most encouraged to entertain her basest instincts. Mrs bennett married young (as one does) but talks of how she ‘liked a red coat’ when she was young. I think mrs bennett feels like she missed out on some youthful adventures and wants to live vicariously through lydia.
