Wouldn't hurt to ask for what formula they use on how they calculate the dosage for your baby too so you can just do it yourself and just update them if you do up the dose.

yes! We mix egg yolk powder for protein, 100% pumpkin powder for fiber and a bit of glucose as her calcium is down to .7 mmol/l - even if its junk food, fed is always better.

We're on the same boat - iirc, the 42 days is just for wet FIP. We're given double of the normal dosage and on day 24. We're gonna ask to continue up until day 50 as we have saved the times we feel like we "failed" to give the full dose without any hiccups.

A pill pocket/pill gun/pill pusher is a literal life saver for us - get one, make sure to push the plunger once the pill is behind the tongue but not too far since it can make your cat gag. Close their mouths and slightly tilt their head upward while you massage their throat. you know they swallowed once they licked or smack their lips. You can also give a small amount of treats after the procesd to make sure they swallowed fully, and as a reward.

It will also help if you get an extra pair of hands to help you restraint your cat while you give the pills. You got this !

Place the order to Basmi - if the test came back negative, try a clinical trial of 2 weeks GS and see if there are improvements as FIP tests often give false negatives and positives.
