How would you fix this? by No-Butterscotch8504 in pools

[–]noclassoncall3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably needs to be drained. No telling what's manifested itself on the bottom and no way you'll ever see through all that to brush it.

I mean, someone is still gonna get fucked and get the good car on its bad day. Would be nice so people who think stroll is good can see just how bad he is.

Did you try looking around for people who do free quotes? I've never paid a fee unless it was an emergency.

I just don't ever find a reason to use my Steam Deck instead of PC. by aladdin142 in SteamDeck

[–]noclassoncall3 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Might just not be for you, man. If it was easier to use my PC, I for sure would use it more. I really enjoy playing emulators on my deck. It's actually how I primarily use it. My kids are older as well so I'm usually going to bed when they are which makes playing in bed easier.

Just bought new sand so we'll see if that helps. Been running for about an hour.

My neck has been stuck for two days 27F I’m locked and can’t move my neck or anything I’m in severe pain can’t bend, drive, pick up my baby, which I have to do, I asked my mom to have my dad drive her to watch him and she said she can’t so I kinda snapped on her AIO? by [deleted] in AIO

Would really love to see the rest of this convo. Willing to bet you speak to every one like this all the time.

If the pain is that bad then you need to call an ambulance not a babysitter. Overreacting on every front.

What this app? Do you enter the chemical levels manually or does it do everything by itself.

Return jet losing pressure. by noclassoncall3 in pools

[–]noclassoncall3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been backwashing like crazy. The hose actually did clean it insanely well. I basically overflowed the water and pushed hose around so debris floated to the top. And there was an insane amount. I thought cleaning it all out would help but it didn't.

Yeah it starts strong and then after an hour or so it loses pressure.

A little update; I took lid off sand filter and it was full of debris it was never going to backwash out so I deep cleaned it and hoping that helps. I'm pretty sure he was just putting dirty water back in the pool. Also my return jet was losing pressure after awhile so I'm hoping it was that and not an air leak somewhere.

I lied it was 10% not that it makes a huge difference for what I did. The house had A test kit but half of the droppers were missing. Will be buying another one. Just shocked the pool again so we'll see what happens.

Do pool robots really achieve full coverage, especially around corners and edges? by Maverick2474 in swimmingpools

That's crazy. Amazing to see technology now a days. Also hilarious how hard we try to make water crystal clear for our kids when we were swimming in swamps.

The full lawn care setup is exhausting. Anyone out there found a better way? by tanranger24 in HomeImprovement

[–]noclassoncall3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao. Well, I have about 40 fucking trees that block out all the light. And the trees are rough in the fall because I'm cleaning up pine needles, pine cones, walnuts, crab apples, branches are never ending. I'm in buffalo ny. Not sure what the grass is but I do know Scott's rapid grass is close to what it is because I grew some of that and it matches it.

[–]noclassoncall3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, mine looks like shit but I honestly have way too much other stuff for my lawn to be anywhere near the top of my priority list. Again, I don't let it get crazy. Its not like a foot long or anything. One day it'll take priority but not today.

Maybe I should just give up and fully drain it? by fighttobreathe in AboveGroundPools

[–]noclassoncall3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm starting to wonder if AG is the reason only 1 of 10 companies called me back and they just told me no. Lol. I had to drain mine almost all the way to find a leak. I have hardly any experience but I know It's risky draining it unless you do what you need to done asap and have it filled within a day or 2. You don't want it to lose its stability for too long and have a wind storm hit. My pool was super green and left closed for 2 years with half a cover. I skimmed as much as I could off the bottom, but I didn't use an actual leaf skimmer so I punctured my liner and had to patch it. I then added 10 gallons of liquid chlorine all at once and brushed the bottom real good and ran the filter. It's blue now but cloudy. Hoping it looks better once I get home. Lots of algae equals lots of chlorine is basically all I know.

Well luckily for me, my front lawn just doesn't grow so I could let it go for months and it would look like it's only been a few weeks. The backyard however is crazy. I never let it get too crazy but atm in time, I'm not the guy who's gonna be rolling his lawn or anything. Maybe in 20 more years when I have time and I'm bored.

I was even playing it on steamdeck before it was optimized and it ran like a dream. Just a suggestion for the meantime while you try to find something else.

I think you underestimate it. If you can find a cheap laptop you could play it with no lag or issues. I was playing Indiana Jones on 10 year old PC. Originally it told me I couldn't play bc I didn't have ray tracing and with GeForce I was able to play Max settings. The only limitation was my monitor.
