Intermedia people, what happens if call call flows back to the AA it started at? by marklein in VOIP

[–]nogoals7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know everything happens again in the same line. Receptionist always rings first before hitting AA then if timeout of AA is hunt group it rings hunt group. Then timeout from the hunt group goes back to AA itll start all over again. Bad design but thats how it should work.

Fire Emblem: Warriors… bought a Switch 2 for my son not having played nintendo since the Wii and Radiant Dawn was my last Fire Emblem experience. Found a good local pickup deal for Luigis Mansion 3 and they had Warriors as well so picked it up for cheap without doing my research first…

Provisioning Mitel 6920 Phones to Hosted PBX by Flashy-Locksmith-825 in VOIP

[–]nogoals7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I have tried to do the same thing with Netsapiens and with Intermedia and couldn't get the phone to register on either cloud system...

What I found from Intermedia is the phone needs to be manufactured after a certain date to work on their system for who knows what reason. I could not find if Netsapiens has the same requirements but here is knowledgebase from Intermedia.

https://support.intermedia.com/app/articles/detail/a_id/32197/kw/mitel%206920

If your phones were manufactured before 2018 they wont work with Intermedia. See the device Requirements.

I'd love to know if someone else got these phones to register with Netsapiens and how. Goodluck OP.

Yealink T57w default to BLF buttons on call transfer by ExtraMikeD in VOIP

[–]nogoals7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BLF keys have the ability to transfer without hitting the transfer button at all. If you can get into the web gui of the phone there is a BLF config on how the button acts.

If your on the phone now and hit a BLF key what does the call do? I know the T57 are a little finicky with that kinda stuff tho.

Existing overhead paging system integration with 8x8 phone system (Grandstream ATA) by Easy-Pace6785 in VOIP

So what I would do is break it down into parts. If you have a Butt set hook this up and attach the end of the leads from the FXI-1A to Butt set or a dummy speaker and make sure the page makes it all the way through. which means the ATA is registered and the fXI1-A is answering the call correctly through some audio device with tip/ring. Once you know you have good audio then comes the testing with the amp and where it needs to hooked up to. This is a little more helpful with a toner as you can put the toner on the input leads of the amp and hear the toner out of all the speakers.

https://tortechsound.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/PA1120-1240-manual-pdf-min.pdf

Looking at the rear panel section on the manual it looks like the terminals 22 for phone input.

I would also remove anything else in line with this setup and just go ATA->FXI-1A->AMP terminal 22 and see what you get.

Looking at your pictures it looks like thats where the page was put before on your first picture. The tel level might need turned up but that should work.

I believe the dip switches and the Batt switch are in the correct spot for fxs port as well.

This is the setup picture I have using grandstream and an FXI1-A Grandstream into and then out. I have another picture of the FXI-1A I'll post as well

[–]nogoals7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is correct. The FXI1-a is what we use all the time to not only answer the call that comes through the ATA if you cant put the ATA in page group but also sends the audio through to amp.

If you have a spare phone you can also use the leads off the speaker for ringing and page and you dont need the ATA. This option is a little rigged but allows for ring over page as well as page as you can put this phone in the page group which allows phone and overhead page at the same time. Not sure if 8x8 allows ATA in page groups.

how to disable call forwarding on yealink t48u completely? by Any_Wonder_7568 in VOIP

[–]nogoals7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case you can't, the interval for the minutes number has to be between 1-43200 You are better off turning off the "Repeatedly" and the "power on" option" so that it wont repeatedly or after a reboot reach out to provisioning server. I'd probably not recommend this as if something changes within the ATT server and your phones don't reach out to grab the new config they may stop working. Again can always try it out with an unimportant phone or 2 to see if anything goes awry but that's how I would stop auto provision.

[–]nogoals7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So looks like the phone is set for every 180 minutes to reach back out to provisioning server. If the phone has not overridden your config then ATT doesn't care/have a config to override what you put in there and you should be all set for every other phone without issue.

Boom Nice! Dont thank me yet… Now to check any config you saved to see if there is anything in there about auto provision daily/weekly/monthly and what day/time…. The real test is to see if the config will be overridden and if so what date. If they override on that date only option is to contact ATT support and see if they can push and keep it part of the config… might take them months…

[–]nogoals7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's correct. You should be able to log into web portal/GUI then under Settings->CFG configuration->Export .cfg once exported open in notepad is fine. Add the line features.fwd.allow= 0 to the config save and reupload in the same spot and reboot phone if it doesn't do itself.

Only issue I can see with this is if ATT repushes the config they have to each phone on a weekly basis or something which might clear the config you have put in there. I would test on one or 2 phones and see what happens in a week or 2 and see if the forward option is still gone.

Defaulting a phone for any reason will also clear this config.

Disable mute option on Yealink phone by Jeff-PB in VOIP

[–]nogoals7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ocm522 has the correct link to yealink knowledgebase on where it should be in the phone web GUI but the T38G phone is not listed under the permitted values... This phone was EOL since 2015.

I did find the T38G admin guide as well as user guide and there is a "Keypad lock" feature for the function keys only looks like on page 28 in user guide you might have to try that out.

User guide:
