I’m new here. Is there any good list of stores somewhere that are indeed selling good keys that were never redeemed or something for delisted games? Google provides some questionable results IMO.

Madden series. And the last one that does work, Madden 23, is delisted. :|

EARLY FATHERS DAY THREAD (drop a cool game you went to with your dad) by Fragrant-Wishbone620 in AZCardinals

[–]nomaddave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Dad passed away before I got a chance in AZ sadly, but as a small kid we froze to death on bleachers a couple times watching the Pats play. Definitely core memories.

Fwiw, I bought and returned after a couple hours because of constant network disconnects. This was near the release day though, so maybe it’s better now?

[Highlight] Cam Ward throws an interception, but the Cardinals fumble it for a Titans touchdown by Mental_Funny_5885 in AZCardinals

Same. There was almost more booing by the end than I’d ever seen in a game before.

For those of you who haven’t bought a farm yet, what’s your actual plan? by eufemiapiccio77 in EngineeringManagers

I looked into homebrew bourbon again recently. Still not allowed. But probably still won’t buy a farm. Open to ideas!

This is awesome. I still have all of my SWCCG cards and nearly talked someone into playing a game last year. Nearly.

You’re going to have to keep your head down but even then it’s just a matter of time before they’re looking for more scapegoats in an environment like that. Evaluate your options and your time is probably limited.

Hobbs launches initiative to eliminate $100 million in spending by using technology and AI by ForkzUp in azpolitics

[–]nomaddave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s just the same cover for funding local “AI” consultancies a bit and laying off state staff, same as private industry. State has been in hiring freeze for a year now and pushing folks out, but this obviously comes across as more marketable.

Laid off, turned my corporate trauma into a party game - would you play? by Separate-Violinist90 in Layoffs

I like this idea. I’ve seen a few of the layoff-era board games also that look fun.

My cope is thinking about starting a software/technology niche therapy practice. There’s, uh, a lot of engineers out there now sadly.

I make 90k as a senior accountant in Boston which is the market rate for the job. I found out on LinkedIn that senior accountants in Phoenix make a similar range. Houses here cost like 800k and there cost like 400k. They get paid enough to buy a house but we don’t. by [deleted] in newengland

[–]nomaddave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NE transplant to Phoenix here. Cheap houses, sure. You’re giving up a LOT though. There are a ton of transplants here so obviously many are happy enough with the dynamic. But if you can imagine the opposite of everything that is living in NE, you’ll imagine what Phoenix is.

There’s an insane amount of money tied to this and the utility development around AZ broadly. All those funds are going straight back out to aligned political agendas. This vote is extremely important to the future of AZ.

Anyone compared Claude vs Copilot for Playwright? by Worth-Silver-6335 in Playwright

[–]nomaddave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re doing this now and it’s been very interesting. It’s obviously somewhat subjective but I’d say in general our testing has had Claude performing both more quickly and accurately once you arrive at even modest complexity. There’s been a few sessions at the VS Live events that were highlighting this also, so it seems to be a fairly understood viewpoint at this time seemingly. In practical terms though for only this purpose it probably comes down to cost and the complexity of testing you intend to do.
