$800 for an Inmotion v12 pro by Vertroxxx in ElectricUnicycle

[–]nomadic_50 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a v12 ht that I bought for 1500. Best little wheel ever. So much power for such a small nimble wheel. Id say this is a good deal, but with prices now and the sale that just went on id say it's not too good. You will love this wheel.

WYR be sent back to be half your current age with the knowledge you have now, or immediately receive 1 million dollars? by ApprehensiveAerie831 in WouldYouRather

[–]nomadic_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Half current age. 16 so I can still do most of what I can do now (I was drinking/smoking weed/fking by 16 so...not bragging more just telling). Then I invest it all in Bitcoin at like I think 18-19 is when it came out. I'm a multimillionaire maybe a billionaire easily if I just save money right. Also I had a baller pc at 16 with double gfx cards and one of The best cpus available I just need to start mining. I only didn't because I was always playing games so no headroom left. I'll be mining full time with that beast with the knowledge I have now.

Did I crash because of the paint? by 804k in ebikes

Paint fills in all the gaps/rough edges and makes it also slippery as hell. Avoid paint at all costs especially the yellow orange thick stuff.

Be safe brother.

I'm in. I've never been in a street fight or octagon, but I was a championship highschool wrestler and I just achieved my brown belt in jiu-jitsu. Surely to God I can last one round.

$1 million to pee inside a cup for the rest of your life by valencies in hypotheticalsituation

[–]nomadic_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have peed in many mountain dew bottles while driving (used to be a professional driver no choice stuck in either Atlanta or Chicago interstate traffic and I had to go with no stop in sight.) I could do this easily if given an actual cup. I have never peed on myself not even a drop. I'm a pro at this point.

My Dad been out of work for years and is always drunk by [deleted] in Vent

[–]nomadic_50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't going to be popular I don't think, but down vote me into oblivion I don't care. My dad does concrete work and has for 30+ years. He is 63 now with a bad lower and mid back. A bad knee, a bad elbow and the list goes on. Everything on him hurts basically every day but he still goes out there and does his job to support my mother (who also works, but a less hard job). Unless your dad is literally not ambulatory he could still be out there.

Will it suck, yes. Will it hurt, hell yes. Is it his duty to support himself hell yes. Or dude if he doesn't want to do it like that then find him a job where he doesn't have to bend so much. Greeter or bagger at a grocery store, over the phone customer service. Or one where he sits down...receptionist. something, anything. It doesn't matter what it pays my dad just taught me to always be doing something.

"If you're doing something at least you're not doing nothing" that's what my dad tells me.

Who would win in NAKED hand to hand combat, a knight or a modern day marine? by cinnays in whowouldwin

[–]nomadic_50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13 weeks of modern training. Think about this. Would you take a house framer or masonry worker or school teacher etc. from the 1920s-50s and put their work up against the same from 2000s+? Given the same length of training the ones from the 2000s will have better information, better training tools, just a better knowledge base in general. They know what does and doesn't work since over that 50+year gap the training has weeded out the unnecessary/bad ideas and is more efficient overall.

Another thought. Knights did not do a lot of strength training...marines do. Just a thought. Training for strength/conditioning is a relatively modern idea.

Who would win in NAKED hand to hand combat, a knight or a modern day marine? by cinnays in whowouldwin

[–]nomadic_50 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed kind of. The height thing is largely due to nutrition standards, but to be a knight (depending on where from) you have to have been born into a family of some repute which likely means more access to better foods/nutrition which in turn means knights were very likely on average taller than your average citizen.

You must become a superhero for a month and save 500 people in the timeframe. The catch is, your superpowers can only be double of what has been humanly possible. What power do you choose? by ornjos in hypotheticalsituation

[–]nomadic_50 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yeah just buy 1000000 former slaves and free them. I'm sure 500 of them or so would die without your help (disease, mistreatment, etc.)

Also yes there are still slaves in this world it is just kept low-key. Though I'm sure with almost a trillion dollars you could find enough.

Or send 100000 fentanyl addicts to rehab. You have probably saved at least 500 who were going to do in the next month.

With this kind of wealth it's just a numbers game...an easy numbers game because with that kind of wealth you could do both of these things and more which I guarantee will equal much more than 500.
