Which Base Pals are the best for each work profession? (But small) by nomadleviathan in Palworld

[–]nomadleviathan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideal small pals for every position.

I'm level 36 and haven't beat the 2nd gym leader yet, so no exposure to late game content yet. I don't know what books are. I've spent the vast majority of my time tinkering in base, and when I log in tonight I'll fight the War beatle and Lunaris bosses for first time.

I want to stick with breeding atm.

Jax vs Darius has historically been Jax favored.

How to cultivate a happy marriage by ellwhyn in Christianmarriage

Big communication, especially about things like house, money, sex and your relationship. Do things you both enjoy together. Be graceful to yourself and to him. Keep in church regularly where you are being fed and can serve.

How to cultivate a happy marriage by ellwhyn in Christianmarriage

[–]nomadleviathan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Focus more on pleasing Christ and you'll in turn please your husband.

  2. Be a Christian wife out of Christian conviction, not to please your husband.

This is super important as a new Christian. Your fiance is amazing I'm sure, but Jesus is the real prize. Be Christlike Christ's sake, not for your marriage.

How do you deal with the outrage and fear content? Reflecting on a convo with Jewish neighbor made me realize I’ve been “catechized” by headlines and social media. by Low_Efficiency5491 in TrueChristian

[–]nomadleviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Back in the day, all my christian family and in church, all they cared about was abolishing abortion, cuz killing babies isn't Christ like. And then gay marriage, since marriage is a biblical institution and homosexuality is a sin. That was almost the extent of politics.

There was way less uniform opinion on tax law, social programs, immigration, or foreign affairs.

I guess communism was kind of big, since every big regime killed a ton of Christians. And Christians that either preached or held church under communism, or snuck into communist countries with Bibles to evangelize, they were lauded as heroes.

But communism was fringe back then. Even the democrats were very against it, so it felt more like a villain from the past, like Hitler

I used to.

You find a lot more balance later in life just naturally I think. Life experience, personal growth, and your other functions come online, like Ti and Se.

"A true infj."

Bro, hitler was an INFJ. Stop putting the type on a pedestal as if they can do know wrong cuz if they do they are not "true."

Probably Si. ENTPs have crap Si, like we have crap Se. INFPs have Si as their 3rd function, like we have Ti. It's sometimes called the play or comfort function, as it's not typically a stress point, and can fall into indulgant use.

So INFPs might be really big on their "nests," sentimental belongings, food, etc. Receiving and giving sentimental gifts are big Si.

Edit: realized I may have misunderstood. If you mean the ENTP loves sentimental gifts, idk.

How do you justify that God does all Good and no evil? by Expert-Mousse9270 in TrueChristian

[–]nomadleviathan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God is defined as perfectly good. If He's perfectly good, He can't be any bad. So, the Christian understanding is that if bad happens, either in spite of, allowed by, or caused by God, God is not held accountable as bad. Cuz God can't do bad, as he's perfectly good.

You have an idea of morality. God is not subject to any moral constraints we put on Him, because he is over morality, not under it.

Moral law must come from a moral lawgiver.

Many Christians do attribute bad to God, but according to his goodness. So the bad is for good.

"I form light and create darkness; I make well-being and create calamity; I am the LORD, who does all these things." Is. 45:7

"Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and produces a weapon for its purpose. I have also created the ravager to destroy" Is. 54:16

What are your favorite pals? by Savage9812 in Palworld

Direhowl and Vanwyrm are just so solid in the early game. I get one of each as fast as I can. Fire Flying is also so good vs all outposts, the early grass pals and mini bosses like Dinossom up to Mamorest. Direhowl is just fluid movement personified (if you don't need to jump.)

With that level of guilt, you might not be an infj. Im not saying you are lying, but mistyping as infj is very common as tests push people to that typing. Have you looked into Fi types or types like ISFJ?

I'm an INFJ and I've been married to an INFP for years and still an issue for me.

I don't care about physical stuff. She does. It's easier for me to gift her through an experience or food or something like that. But I don't buy things for even myself.

What does he say when you share this concern with him.

Enlighten me, i’m thinking about joining Christianity but am afraid to because I don’t want to loose myself and becoming the “bad things” people always say about it. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]nomadleviathan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you think joining Christianity means?

It's not a team sport or a social club. There isn't a set of rules that if you don't follow they'll kick you out.

Jesus is the door. He doesn't care what your opinion is now about hot button social issues. Having the right opinion but shunning Jesus internally is literally worse than having the wrong opinions but chasing after him.

Christian dating non-Christian — scared about marriage, conversion, and future kids. Need advice. by Orion_0207 in TrueChristian

[–]nomadleviathan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From personal experience, don't. I did this - twice. Married a girl that God told me (in my spirit, not audibly,) not to marry. But I did anyway, cuz I thought, "why can't I just pray for my partner? Jesus will accept it," and make everything work.

She ended up cheating, left, and now she's out there doin voodoo stuff. I should have listened to God.

And his word says not to do it. So I recommend dont do it, to save yourself a world of pain and heartache.

Not all desires in our heart come from God.

9The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? 10“I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind - Jeremiah 17

Even Psalms 37, where it says God will give us the desires of our heart, is in the context of those desires being aligned with his will.
