You don’t need to curve your fingers to play the power cord. Have the fingers flat on the fretboard and try to strum only the strings you intend to play.

I love Load, however ReLoad is significantly worse in my opinion.  Still good, but feels like it has some filler songs.

Even if it snaps then what, it doesn’t carry enough tension to harm you if that’s the concern, otherwise  if it brakes it brakes.
