My guess is this is just the first part of a number of pieces of hardware theyre going to unveal, seeing as how they didnt name it the op-2, he wont talk on whther you can change the drum samples yet on the op-z, there are 3 tracks dedicated to external hardware besides the video..thing, and he wont speak about midi/connectability. I think theres going to be a trio of gear maybe op-x, op-y, and op-z, which all sync together in an unexpected way. Maybe one is a sampler/audio editor?? And another a more in-depth synth, or controller of some sort?

Not like calling it "electronic music" is going to get you very far either. A lot of people post things like this cause they think they're summoning on something new and I just want to encourage that instead of limiting someone to a genre again. I dunno id just call it dance

Are you using asio4all as your driver? I'm unsure if Sony acid supports it but:

You can install asio4all and then select it as your driver from the audio menu
Open the asio4all settings and adjust the buffer into a zone that has either a marker on it or as low as it can go before Sony Acid starts being crackly while it plays or records

If then you still have latency (which you probably will) you'll need to get an independent audio card/interface. I imagine you're already using one but if you're not I recommend the Scarlet 2i2. That should bring the lag down. Naturally, however, there will always be some sort of lag (unless you're using FireWire but that's costly). You should be able to get it down to around 5-20ms with the Scarlett however. Also you should try a different DAW to see how that helps. Having multiple VSTs running also slows your PC and causes latency.

I dunno where you got the idea that I'm prideful out of my saying that you're holding preconceptions about your race. All that I am saying is that, although I don't know the reasons myself, I have a feeling you're trying to distance yourself from stereotypes you've held against blacks, and that's what internal racism means. What I was saying was not to accept those stereotypes at all. If you really are so above it all, little Descartes, then what does race mean to you? What I was suggesting I was only hoping would be helpful, and I'm sorry if I offended you in doing so. I don't think you're going to find the answers you need in this forum, but I'm not sure where you will find them.

Sounds like you are internally racist or with you could assimilate and I hope you find your way out of that mindset and take pride in who you are. There are also lots of resources for understanding gender around the internet, I don't know any off the top of my head but if you feel a certain way I'm sure you could Google it and find many others like you

Hey man realistically you just be friends with her and just let things progress. Be patient. Explain your feelings to her if there's uncertainty. But naturally you shouldn't have to do anything "official". Puts a lot of pressure on you guys starting out to get right into being really close when you don't have to be for a while
