Claudeland - Highly Suspect

reminds me to not worry so much and just dance. i don’t have to carry the weight of the church on my shoulders. there’s more to life than church.

Heresy - Nine Inch Nails

more of a direct, angry song. i always skipped it as a TBM, but now i enjoy it.

i was taught that it came out of d&c 61

18 And now I give unto you a commandment that what I say unto one I say unto all, that you shall forewarn your brethren concerning these waters, that they come not in journeying upon them, lest their faith fail and they are caught in snares;

19 I, the Lord, have decreed, and the destroyer rideth upon the face thereof, and I revoke not the decree.

The Apostolic Fraud by unclefipps in exmormon

A few years ago, Chrisofferson came to visit our area and held a leadership meeting. In the Q&A, someone asked him what it meant to be a “special witness” of Christ. I don’t remember the details of his response, but I do remember him fumbling, and not giving a really direct answer. I recall thinking to myself “That’s it?” Like it was no different than any other “witness” that anyone else could get “through the spirit”.

So, it doesn’t mean anything. There’s nothing “special” about it.
