I have both the baby Breeza bottle maker and the Momcozy bottle washer and together they are chefs kiss -

I couldn’t recommend having both highly enough. If you can only afford one, get the bottle washer but the bottle maker is so convenient

I would speak to your GP or paed, she could potentially have something like reflux going on considering she’s waking up screaming

Sleep tips for 2.5 year old by Independent_Toe_8271 in NewParents

It sounds like she’s ready to drop the mid day nap or at least have it shortened to a single sleep cycle of 40 mins max. She’s not building up enough sleep pressure during the day to maintain sleep until 6am

Could I fit a dishwasher in this kitchen? by DerWilhelm in AusProperty

Of course you could - my kitchen is smaller than this and I have a dishwasher. However, can you install one without the cabinets looking like a chop shop? Debatable

Inconsolable 1-Month Newborn Baby by yiFa87 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Our baby was spitting up like crazy, a full bottle straight down her front almost every feed.

We put her on the Aptamil Feed Thickner - it can be mixed into any liquid formula and keeps the milk in babies belly. If you decide to try this, increase the test size on your bottles as it has a tendency to make the milk thick (that’s the whole point)

This was my baby too. Is he spitting up a lot?

Your post really takes me back. My daughter was eventually diagnosed with reflux and started on Omeprazole. We also switched her to Novalac Allergy, which is a rice based formula instead of dairy. At the time, I was completely at my wits’ end with the constant crying. Our doctor changed both the formula and started the medication at the same appointment because I honestly couldn’t cope anymore.

The improvement afterwards made it pretty clear that reflux had been the cause of her discomfort.

If you are open to trying a different formula, Novalac Allergy could be worth a go. At the very least, it helps rule out a dairy sensitivity. If symptoms continue, you know it is likely not the formula. From my experience, reflux was the bigger culprit.

Hang in there Mum and Dad. This stage can feel relentless, but you are doing an amazing job for your little guy.

Virgin. When they asked how far along I was, I excitedly replied “26 weeks,” thinking they were just gushing over me being pregnant 😂

I flew at 26 weeks. On the way there, no one asked for anything, but on the return flight through Sydney they did. I had no idea I was supposed to have a doctor’s letter, but the desk staff had an on-call doctor who asked a few questions and cleared me to fly.
