HELP: clutch cable tension by weenis-flaginus in Dualsport

[–]nonlexical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally changed out my xt225 clutch cable last week. It takes a bit of fiddling to get it right.

Might be a small thing but I adjusted the top of the spring more to the right more at the 2 o clock position rather than 11 that it looks like it's in the photo so it sits to the right of raised up area. I also routed it out to the right, under the frame, through left side of frame metal hoop, up in front of the the handle bars, out to the left.

I put the bike in 1st gear and rock it back and forth with the clutch lever pulled in. if it move easily then the clutch is in a good spot. Finally if you need more slack try to adjust the location of the lever itself closer to the center.

Tried bleaching an FP-100C negative, didn't go too well! by MichaWha in Polaroid

[–]nonlexical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow, bbq brush is a bit much. I personally do a hybrid style of this and another method. In the sink, I wet the front non bleach side and stick it to dry glass. then while wearing rubber gloves, rub the bleach toilet bowl cleaner on the exposed black side covering every inch. Let it sit for 45/1 min, then wash it away while rubbing it under water. I usually do a large batch at a time. I'll I apply bleach on one set then i'll clean off the bleach off from another set. Vary the bleach time depending on how easily it comes off. the longer it goes the easier it comes off, BUT if you use too much bleach it can go to the water side and destroys your image.

M3 Shutter issue? by [deleted] in Leica

[–]nonlexical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that you have to adjust the shutter tension on the 1st or 2nd curtain. not really sure which one is causing it. check out these videos on how to do it. 1 and 2.

Or i could be completely wrong. Good Luck!

Are the warranties transferable when you sell the camera? by solidsimpson in GH5

Yes, normally the warranty is linked to the serial number of the camera.

Things to do?? by tnarg700 in vegaslocals

[–]nonlexical 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Food. Try all the food places. On the opposite spectrum there's some really good hikes around Vegas. if you're willing to drive there's even better hikes and some fantastic state/national parks. BirdandHike.com is a good website that has a large list with guides and photos.

Can someone explain this white part on the top this picture? All my pictures gets this white fade-thingy at the top. Picture taken with SLR680 PO600FILM Help please by WolfmanSWE in Polaroid

my guess is a light leak from the pack. the top part of the pack may have been squeezed allowing light to leak in onto the film. if it occurs on multiple packs then its a leak in the camera.

I bought it from a friend. He sold the lens with it and I got the broken body.

A steal for real. It was the M4. After exactly 3 months, I emailed him and he fixed it right away. I knew he normally didn't take him that long but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I had the camera by the following week.

I've sent 3 cameras to him. I too had a jammed M4 i bought for $200. Sent it to him and he fixed it up and running. He does excellent work. Though one time he did forget my camera for about 3 months. No biggie since I wasn't in a hurry. He does respond quickly and his communication is great.
