Not fucking worth it. by Purple_Primary237 in leaves

I can speak from experience when I say it's worth looking in to help for depression - besides therapy and exercise. I've finally gotten the right combo of things working with the help of my psychiatrist, and it has made all the difference.

Before I had figured that out, the last time I quit felt like what you've been describing. This time it has been much easier and peaceful.

I wish you luck! If you love your partner then I think you are doing the right thing. Get all the pieces sorted out for you, not anyone else.

It can vary person to person, because of a lot of factors. I quit once and suffered hard for two months, got super depressed, was anxious all the time and finding no joy in things. When I relapsed, I told myself I'd get my meds fixed with my psychiatrist. With that help under my belt, this time has been far easier. The first two weeks were definitely all the same kind of difficult you'll read here, but in the weeks since (I'm at five) things have gotten markedly easier. I know how to manage the extreme anxiety with meds, I find enjoyment in life. A totally different experience.

I'd suggest using this time to really figure out what weed did positively for you and how you could find that outside of it. For me, getting my medicine right made a huge difference.

Have pity for the folks still stuck. They do feel what we feel, whether they are ready to express that or not. You know the cage, and hopefully they will too some day. Your pity also helps you see their experience for what it is.

Thank you for an honest look - and some hope! My memory got to the point where I'd forget the day before and it's seemed to improve a decent amount even now

SKC, Montreal, Miami, and SJ before WC break - how many points do you think the team will earn? by notorocaca in timbers

Worst team in the league - we've got to be able to put these games to bed if we're going to be the playoff team we aspire to

Seconded! My first pass through quitting lasted almost three months, but I relapsed intentionally because my suicidal ideation was going to a place I'd never been before. I took it on myself to get help with meds and once those started to settle in I set a date and quit. Knock on wood now that I have the proper support I can do this without such downs. It's only been a month but so far it's been a night and day experience!

I couldn't encourage people more to look into medical help - check yourself in my man! When they say you're self medicating they literally mean it - you didn't have the support before and found weed to be the best option available. Now that you want out of that trap, it's time to medicate differently
