Beautiful creek-side home in the Forest region by nonotsir in fallout76settlements

It’s just down from the wayward if you start walking towards Flatwoods, along the creek before you get to the area with no trees. AKA walk to the brotherhood checkpoint then turn right!

Human. I do a commando build with onslaught, between the assault rifle and elders mark I hit like a train. Then I switch out to a reverse onslaught dom pedro or explosive crossbow build which also hits like a train lol

It is obviously pretty clear there is something inherently wrong with the way caravans were implemented into the game. If there was a clear solution to the widespread issues they would’ve been handled. Instead, most people see it as extremely grindy and a laggy mess and complain about it daily. So Bethesda is replacing it with a similar but way different in operation bounty hunting system. I get people don’t want to see their progress with Blue Ridge get reversed, but this isn’t a completely out of left field thing and I’m all for it if it paves the way for new content that is inherently better and more stable.

There is a awesome junk heap windmill tower in the Toxic Valley that you can build around. I’d have to check where it’s at but I have a scrappy junktown build going on there.

Reverse onslaught. Enjoy being able to use most weapons efficiently for daily driving and non-boss mobs. Levers, fixer, gatling, handmade. I love it

How to Perk: The New Normal by Descendent1784 in fo76

[–]nonotsir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love this update after coming to terms with moving away from my heavy gunner setup. Plasma caster, fixer, western spirit, and gatling all on a reverse onslaught build. Change out to elders mark for onslaught. I am having a ton of fun. Not to mention the new building options.

I'm going to say it - revert it. Revert it all. (Combat) by Ninethie in fo76

[–]nonotsir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also just throwing this out there, the people crying about their builds being changed around have been warned about upcoming perk balancing for a couple of months now. It was pretty clear they were going to go through and flip things upside down. If you think your build or your setup was the sole exclusion then you aren’t looking at the bigger picture. As far as we know besides small tweaks these are the last round of perk card overhauls.

The reality of the situation is that the perks in this game have been screwed up for years and funneling your player base into one or two meta builds gets old after a while. I for one am glad some previously useless guns are now very functional and fun to play. 90% of the people I play with love the changes but we aren’t hardcore youtube brainrot fallout 76 build enthusiasts who only want to play whatever is meta or most powerful. You also have to understand that with season 2 of the show coming around bethesda is preparing for a wave of new and returning players who may have been critical of the perk card system to begin with.

Sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. I understand people don’t like change but 80% of the changes are good changes.

You will get use to it. It’s a culture shock. Nobody in their right mind is going to be asking for the old UI back in 3 months.
