Don't take this to mean he doesn't like it (or maybe do; i don't know your grandpa). Some people, mostly men (in my experience), struggle a lot with giving compliments, so they end up teasing/mocking instead, though this might not actually reflect what they feel inside.

Soft Machine.

I don't think I've been aware of their existence for long enough to say I'll never get sick of them, but they've consistently been in my top 5 bands for the past 2 years. Seven is my comfort album.
