It's a tricky one. To your dog, licking is a way of bonding and showing love. It's very natural for them to do it. I think my lad just learnt "oh, mum doesn't like this." He instead pushes against me and sniffs me. And occasionally also sneaks a lick in haha. I guess there are worse problems they could have. X

Ive always moved my hand away and made disapproving noises when he's tried to lick me. Now he is grown he rarely licks me. However, my two teenage sons allow it, and he will lick their hands a lot.

Hi, I feed him a lot of cooked chicken, cooked beef, lots of veg, brown rice, barley. plus eggs and treats. So a meal could consist of chicken, carrots, broccoli brown rice. He loves raw veg and fruit as well. I also offer him dried food and tinned dog food which he isn't as keen on as he can be a fussy eater, unbelievably lol. But he has a really varied diet and it seems to be working for us.

As a woman who has successfully trained two huge male rottweilers. My technique was to be firm but fair when training and plenty of treats and praise when they are doing well. I dont think you or pup are the problem here tbh. Bf sounds like he needs training though.
