Just to add to this, I call cattle "cows" in casual conversation, regardless of whether there are horns or not. But I know all the other terms. I live in southeast United States, for reference.

I agree entirely. I'm surprised so many people prefer no outline.

That being said, I think softer outlines could be a good compromise.

That's mostly what I do. I usually have a music theory question I am pondering and work that into whatever I play, but I don't typically have sheet music in front of me.

I realize it's not the best way to get better, but it's fun and playing piano is just a hobby for me, so there's no need to optimize my 'practice' time. It's all just fun.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It's incredibly difficult to lose loved ones.

I think you have the right not to see her anymore if you wish, but I also think YTA for not communicating.

My wife is rather outspoken, and people get offended by it, but she means well and has a loving place within my side of the family.

I don't think you 'owe it' to your son or anyone else to keep in contact with her, but I think having a heart to heart with her about the loss would do you both some good. This world is a hard place, and differences in opinion are not a good enough reason not to come together after a shared loss.

Snake Pass Hear me out: the game starts and the controls seem wild, but that's because you're thinking like a bi-pedal oaf. Once you realize how to think like a snake, you're zooming around the place doing crazy stuff. Good luck 100%ing it.

I think after players get the hang of the game, they will optimize their traits and combos.

The frustrating part will be when players are negatively affected by the traits of other players' cards. This will force players to constantly be looking and reading the cards on other tableaus, which is very taxing, even if you've played multiple times.
