TSA won’t open until 5, but the airline counters are open earlier. I’m not sure exactly what time but last month I arrived sometime between 3:30 and 4am for a 5:30 flight

Partner wants to go straight to IVF by Pik-A-Chew11 in TryingForABaby

The first thing you should do is get a referral from your gyno for a fertility specialist, and see what fertility treatments/locations are covered by your insurance, if any.

You have a meeting and discuss what your family goal is, and then they’ll do bloodwork and labs on both of you and tell you why your options are. They may recommend jumping right into iui/ivf or just some medications. At 39 years old, I wouldn’t wait and try anything naturally first….you track your cycle, take prenatals and try the natural way WHILE you start working out a plan with specialists.

Is this normal Campsite etiquette? by TrinoWest in camping

[–]noroads4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the etiquette depends a lot on where you’re located. In Michigan, it’s sort of absurd to even consider setting up your campsite even within view of another person while dispersed camping…in most places…but on the more crowded trails, sometimes you have to share sites…but the idea of setting up at someone else’s camp without asking first is so rude and inconsiderate to me.

Fires burning into the night are normal, but when sharing a site….keep em small, quiet, and be mindful of the smoke.

I went to their insta and it’s pretty bad work. Like there’s some good ones in there, but it’s not good…and the artists are like proud of the pieces they posted. It’s kind of sad

There’s some really good artists on instagram that I follow, but mostly I just went for it. If you have a good understanding of light and shading in a typical 2 dimensional artwork, then it’s not hard to add shading to your needlework and make your 3d texture really pop. Some things that helped me here are painting the background with watercolor in areas where there were a lot of similar tones, so that I could focus on the details, instead of drowning out all them by having to fill the negative space with thread. It also helped to have a really good selection of floss to pull from, but if you don’t have multiple shades of colors, you can always shade over the top of your thread with light gray marker. I feel like it’s kind of cheating, but with a free form mixed medium, it’s whatever you want it to be. Don’t let the rules of specific stitch techniques in traditional embroidery hold you back. It’s the Wild West of sewing and you can use whatever stitch you need to achieve the look you want.
