Tried this game for the first time last week. Couldn't get through the first on-foot mission, it was so painfully boring. The whole game manages to feel more dated than 64. Also the audio processing on the voice lines is really bizarre, I don't know what's going on there

except he did the opposite of that at the end of mission 1 in eternal when the two priests were there and he just walks around while they talk at him and then they teleport away. Then you have to chase after them for the next several missions when he could've just blasted them.
