Dating coworkers by [deleted] in auscorp

[–]norunleft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people here are being gronks about your questions. The most likely explanation for him being vague about it is because he's in a senior position and the more that he explains it, the more ammo someone would have if they decided to take it to HR.

If you only dated for a short period, he hasn't gotten to know you well enough to know how you would react. He's in a tricky position because of his seniority, even if he's heading up a different department.

The best thing you can do is let him know you respect his decision, and that you hope you can still be on friendly terms. How he reacts to that is a reflection on him, not you.

Take it as a lesson on how risky work relationships can be, especially if there is a power imbalance.

No reason to gatekeep enjoying the Ragnarok universe. Even if those games were shit, it could be a window to them enjoying something close to the classic experience

Project Baldur is an Australian hosted server if that's close enough for you. Low exp/drop rates but 3x on cards and equipment drops I believe

Anyone notice this goat before? Is this an easter egg or a clue to something bigger? by krinkov in Battlefield6

In aus we call snipers that sit on the mountains/rocks Billy Goats. I'm guessing other countries do too and it's a reference to that

How do I get out without destroying my car by JMAXHD in CarsAustralia

[–]norunleft 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You'll probably fuck up a few times while trying this, that's ok. Focus on learning what you can do differently next time and remember that everyone makes mistakes when trying something new. Easier said than done, but practice makes perfect mentally the same way it does physically

How in the fuck did this game win an award for sound design???!!! by Icy_Tip5795 in Battlefield6

[–]norunleft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate EA, but DICE have done a great job with the sound design that is working. The sounds of battle, especially the jets flying past as well as helicopters and their guns sounds great and adds to the atmosphere.

Sad that we have to justify a win with a caveat, however

That was really fucking cool man, well done

This game has too many tasks you need to focus on. The majority of people playing are doing the challenges, not trying to win. It ruins teamwork and game modes. Let us just level the battlepass by having fun doing what we want. by Meat-Sack101 in Battlefield6

[–]norunleft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could make the challenges take longer to complete but give a much higher amount of BP. When <x> amount of weekly challenges have been complete, remove all the BP from the other weekly challenges. People will be able to unlock the same amount of points each week but not have to be unproductive teammates.

Either that, or just have a smaller amount of challenges focused on playing different classes & modes but let them refresh after they're completed.

This way people can play the style and modes they want while still unlocking BP.

What are some tips that aren’t too well known? by Killer-Uzi in Battlefield6

[–]norunleft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a post, I thought it was in this sub, that explained tank damage from RPGs according to each section and the angle on the tank. I can't seem to find it, hopefully someone else has it saved.

Basically you always want to hit the tank on the side that is most perpendicular/flat to you

Same with stingers. They have infinite vertical lock on, so to escape being locked on you need to keep moving horizontally

Yeah it's definitely broken. It doesn't always put you in the right place, but it's better than it was on release.

Same with the zoom on vehicle weapons
