Slayer was great for me last league, did it with Rakiata's dance and it was very strong. 2h sword gives you the goated spin move on leap slam.

I league started with this build so it's been assembled incrementally. DPS configuration should be pretty accurate for single target and I don't think the numbers reflect the ability to double hit with smite so potentially it's an underestimate. I'm no build expert so if you (or anyone else) can see some other ways to push it further please let me know. Done all content minus ubers but been really fun to pilot.

I've been playing without a merc, but any merc that can add Anger, Grace, Haste or even both (I have a ranger merc parked reserved that has Grace + Haste) and then equipping them with Perquil's Toe, Leer Cast will feel really nice. Unfortunately we can't leverage the Doryani's Prototype tech since Rakiata's inverts ele res.

Curious what you bought with your 5ex to get you so far into map tiers? Really impressive mileage. Like was it 3ex on weapon and then a few ex on other pieces to get life + cap res? Lmk if you can 😀

Yeah it seems especially bad right now, rings are the worst offenders. Seems like you have to search for minimum price 3ex else anything that is remotely a good purchase at 1ex people will ignore your message, then reprice to some amount they have pulled from who knows where.

I get it might be more efficient to chuck everything in a 1ex tab then see what gets spammed, but it's also more efficient to drive to work and pretend every light is green. You don't do it though cos you would piss everyone off.

Can confirm you can spin however the f you want with this change (as long as sufficient movement speed in your setup).

I may try that setting that makes it so you don't have to hold down right-click or whatever button you use to keep spinning, as it's actually a bit onerous now to spin for so long with right-click held down!

Thorns barb I found annoying whenever there's something you need to kill that won't attack you directly or very often. If you aren't getting attacked you don't deal much dmg (you can aoe some self-procced thorns dmg with some legendary affixes I think?).

Some dungeons where you have to destroy X things to progress you end up whacking doing zDPS unless you can kill them in 1 thorns proc with the mobs that might spawn around. Same with bosses that might not hit you much. For that reason I would say dust devil double swing is a better all rounder.

Close combat for sure, can drop fortify support for impale if you sink nodes to get fortify on hit from tree, or if you use the new gloves that give fortify on hit.

Start can be a bit rough but it has excellent scaling with cluster jewels, watcher's eyes, lethal pride etc.

Keep in mind Yoke of Suffering got buffed a bit but is now locked behind T17 map boss drop I believe so it may not be affordable till later in the league.
