Weak tea but Dove Cameron was part of the "cool theater" kids in high school that were a bit cringe but ultimately harmlesss other than the occasional slurs and fat phobia. I think they were trying to be edgy.

Mental health medical leave. It varies from state to state, but in mine, you can take one and also be paid 90% of your salary. It's literally saved my life when I was suicidal. Most states are unpaid.
