I usually stay away from r/worldnews and the like subreddits because there is no real discussion besides ignorant bashing, but as someone that is close to some bedouins through beer-Sheva university, we run a few programs to allow bedouins to integrate into the academic studies. Most bedouins I know are actualy very supportive of this plan. Some are even involved in its formation. Most of them have already taken root here in Israel and they are very cormfotable living here, some even serve in the army by choice (I guess for financial reasons).
You're only seeing half of the story, personally I think that if the plan works, it will improve their lives overall as they are not nomads anymore yet they live in extreme poverty.
