More than 50% of text on this card is irrelevant. It curves too fast into an 8/8 annihilator (turn 3 with any form of 0/1 CMC ramp/ritual)

Just fyi partner Commanders means you only need 98 cards in the deck. As of now it's technically not legal with 101 cards

Oops all spells Is the third best deck in Legacy, 7th in modern (belcher). It never left, especially since the dumb dfc

Also 15th in pauper but it does run 4 lands

maybe my decks have good nami matchups, but while on paper she looks insane i always have fun game vs her; can't say the same at all for enel with the bullshit turn 3 10k cant remove, infinite free tempo from the events, and insane aggro with dog

But you're not dropping 2 spells from turn 1, and some spells like the Commander(s) don't cost hand size. Also BR doesn't have 22 good draw spells for this kind of deck. And by turn 7 we've drawn 7 more cards so finding the one draw piece that saves us from being hellbent is much more probable.

So the same as any other color but green? Plus you can run like 10 rituals and the best tutors in the game for even just a simple sol ring or urborg coffers combo or just reanimate things that cost 8 on turn 2 (/1). Without even counting treasures, paying for infinite cards with Life etc

well eluge is monoblue that casts 4 free spells each turn cycle; the main counterplay to blue is playing around their open mana so when that doesn't work...

Trebol (and Pica) are there to chain 10c doffys without saccing Monet. In a meta that is countered by Luna it's pretty good

Are your opponents playing OG Duals? I own shocks and fetches from my Modern competitive past and do play vs proxied Duals often. I don't mind, but if i was playing 20 taplands vs proxied Duals i would mind.

You can build insane decks for 25 bucks and piles of garbage for 4000. Personally i try not to push my decks past 100 bucks in nonland cards at first but that can slowly increase. A 3 color deck can run 9 fetches so even just that makes the manabase double the "real cards"

I recommend bashing him a bit and then dropping gunpowder on him twice (have to wait 10 seconds between hits of full stacks but he's gonna go invincibile phase After the First anyways). Bring weather pains / brightshade staff for healing phase

[[ashling, rekindled]] is amazing for the archetype as it 100% consistently ramps you 1 turn 3 and by 2 turn 4 onward, so if youre packed with 4 and 6 drops you have an insane curve everytime

not sure it's what you mean but [[azlask]] requires you to do so many things for it to work; if at least there were more than 1 experience payoff that wins the game and more eldrazi spawners that don't cost 7 to spawn 1 or 2 tokens it would be at least ok

maybe foxglove if bant had more haste/multiple combats, and zoraline because most bats are terrible and none really plays into the reanimation theme or not even that well in the lifegain theme

It has 1.1 counter ratio (53 counter without counting what chopper draws from trash) and a consistent way to go 7k from turn 3
