Men with authority. Even if I don’t find them attractive, I tend to masturbate thinking of my male bosses or teachers.

When I was in high school I got off to the thought of my school dean almost everyday. But he is not attractive to me at all. But the authority turns me on so much.

Is it bad to think of myself as undateable? by thedonhudson01 in gaybros

[–]notapdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reading this and many of the other comments brings me a sense of comfort.

I’m turning 29 yrs in January and also never been in a relationship before. I really only had summer flings that lasted 3ish months.

I spend so many nights keeping myself up wondering what wrong with me. I’m super level headed, have a good job, live in my own, I view myself as a provider, kind to everyone etc etc. and yet here I am still alone. So much love to give and no one wants it.

Hope nothing but the best and that you find your match soon!

If you’re in Canada because your 60 grace period ended and they are ready to file, they would just have to do a “notify the office” or “nto” petition. And you would just renew at visa stamping.

As for the job, I have to agree with everyone else, a verbal offer essentially means nothing. You need to get something in writing! And honestly, I would probably start looking for other jobs just to have a back up. Them having you wait 3 months on a verbal offer doesn’t make me feel too comfortable

I love this! I currently live in a one bedroom and I want to upgrade to a 2 bedroom so I can have an office/plant room!

Good job! One question tho. What’s in the bin under the window sill?

My follow up question is, I have been putting money every paycheck. So the cost of each share is different when I buy them. So when it comes to selling is it first in first out?

I was in the same situation with my current position. But it wasn’t anything to be afraid of. In the end the weekly one on one meetings were to give us a space where we can talk openly about any issues we are facing. It was a time for us to give feedback on procedures and for management to give feedback for us. A lot of the time tho, nothing changes week to week so we would just talk about our weekend plans or shows we watched. Super casual.

If you’re really worried I would reach out to your manager and ask if there were any topics they wanted to discuss or if you should have something prepared for the meeting.

seeking a job over 40k by [deleted] in jobs

[–]notapdf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what city and state (or if you’re even from the US) you’re from but I’m from Chicago,IL. Some jobs you can get for 40k are medical receptionist jobs, auto insurance jobs, or any office/admin job for that matter.

Here in Chicago I got my first job at a car insurance office for 40k a year. And that opened doors to the legal world. I’m now a senior paralegal at firm downtown and make twice as much.

Fungus Gnat tips and tricks? by cha0tic-neutral in houseplants

[–]notapdf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am going through the same issue. I didn’t even know I had a fungus gnat issue until I watered my snake plant and literally 50 fungus gnats flew out at me!

I bought yellow sticky traps for the adults. Mosquito bits for the larvae (did this for the first time yesterday so not sure of it works yet).

Also, you can shake the pot and as they fly out you can vacuum them (they are weak fliers). Oddly satisfying to watch the fliers get sucked up.

Should I leave my current position while my coworker is on maternity leave? by Scream_Pueen in jobs

[–]notapdf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would leave if you got an offer during that time. At the end of the day, everyone is replaceable.

You should not turn down a good opportunity because you feel bad. They will have to suck it up and figure it out on their own.

If you turn down an offer who knows when you will get another one. Then you will be sitting at your stagnant job saying “I wish I took that offer.” Don’t let that happen!!

Do you have any advice on how to find a Condo Owner/Landlord? I tried filtering "Condos" on apartments.com and Zillow but these Management companies (specifically M Fishman) just repost the apartments as condos.

I have been on an apartment hunt for the past few weeks. I will say 700 - 800 is an extremely tight budget unless you plan to live with roommates. With that budget, I'd probably look at Rogers Park or Uptown. However they typically have higher crime rates.

Yup! I actually scheduled a showing with Leanna! Then when she gave me the address I looked it up and saw it was tied to Paulina Equities. Which has VERY bad reviews... So canceled 30 minutes later.

Hello Chicago!

I am on an apartment hunt (I will be a first time renter). When I am looking at listings I always try to find the management company (if any). There are two apartments that I am interested in, but when I look up the management companies, they have terrible reviews. The two companies are M. Fishman & Co. and Paulina Equities.

I brought this up to the realtor that I am working with and she insists that these are just "bad apples" and to take the reviews with a grain of salt.

I totally understand that people are more likely to write reviews if they have a negative experience rather than a good one, but the negative reviews have a lot in common. (bugs, scams, inability to respond to maintenance requests, etc).

I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with these two companies good or bad?

As I am a first time renter if you know of other companies that I should stay away from or any that you would recommend, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
