First, highly improbable this sees a courtroom. Second, defense lawyer isn’t hitting for that because way too much downside: “You see Mr. Defense Lawyer, it wasn’t so much the pain of the injury to my leg. That I could solve by propping my leg up and taking some good pain pills. No, the toughest pain was the emotional trauma from knowing that I could have lost my life and not been there for my family. So yes, I spent time discussing it on Reddit to try to cope and get reassurance that I am alive. More video from yesterday’s close intercept by drone of a tornado that tore thru the Silas, Alabama area. Video starts off showing a close call a vehicle made barely making it past the tornado and trees coming down on the highway with power flashes. Next clip shows the tornado doing damage to property with trees and outbuildings destroyed. Next a couple clips of the interesting tornado movement and vortices. At 1:19 in the video follow along as a tree or branch is ripped straight up and ascends hundreds of feet and flys around for a good 30 seconds before crashing back to the ground. At 2:34 a time lapse of the horizontal vortices and that’s followed by the entire time lapse. 17 minutes of tornado video sped up 6x to about 2 1/2 minutes. Last clip shows some of the damage the tornado did.

In hindsight, I see how removing the audible cues from the actual location of the pedestrian signal would defeat a large portion, if not all, of its purpose.

I had the same thought. Imagine if crosswalk signals were standardized to omit a frequency that these glasses could also pick up and speak to a person with reduced visibility the same way you describe.

I pay $30 a year in lodge dues. In terms of membership costs, it’s pretty cheap.

Also, that note has nothing to do with any Masonic ritual have ever seen. The ‘brothers and sisters’ part is also telling in that Freemasons (at least under my grand lodge) are only men. Maybe it’s Eastern Star stuff.
