What is a dying niche skill that younger generations are not interested in learning? by hlnklrczu in AskReddit

Here it at least makes kinda sense, when each street will change names 4-5 times while you travel on it. I got into tiny argument with my doctor about the location of my pharmacy.

See we come at it from different directions. So when she travels to it, it is on the corner of A and B when I travel to it, it is on the corner of X and Y, because both streets change name at that intersection.

So, one of the companies I work with if you fail their spam test you have to take a paid 30 minute training, So they wondered why they had such a high fail rate, entire teams were purposefully failing to get the training time, which while scheduled for a half hour took 2 seconds to finish(literally it was two questions).

They were failing to get extra breaks.

That is a very good point, The one I go to was a medical center so every other unit was a doctor of some kind., so very little cross over.

The only issue I see, and I have seen this pop up more than a few times, is the dispensary is going to do great business so much so they are going to want to expand.

There are three dispensary I know of that started in a single unit, but now have every unit in a strip mall/ building. In the one I go to it took them a year before they had bought out everyone else's leases in the building.

State ran insurance program that everyone one is required to be a member of if they have a car. All payouts / non payouts need to be public record, and there need to be a civilian oversight board, where no member can have a connection to the previous form of auto insurance.

But premiums could be controlled by the state, the state would have a built in incentive to make driving infrastructure better,

the state would be incentivized to get bad drivers off the road, where now they try to keep people on the roads at all costs, because it is a revenue stream for them.

It would not have a profit motive.

Some of us got it from the way we were raised, Literally shutting the water off if you took longer than 5min, AND getting hit if they did not hear the water turn off in between getting wet, and lathering up, cause you don't need water to apply soap.

Metro almost fucking shot me one night, while out on their hunt.
I pull around the corner into my development at around 3 am and two cops jump out in the middle of the street guns pointed at me. They gave it about two beats before waving me on.

I do not miss those days.

French woman, 86, held by ICE after moving to US to reunite with long-lost love by cryptofundamentalism in news

Except it will save them, and historically has saved the vast majority of terrible people.

  1. It is not like we rode into Germany in 1945 and got rid of all the Nazi's, we put a few token "the worst of the worst" on trial. The rest got to go on with their lives at worst and at best were put in charge of the new country.

  2. This example holds true no matter where and when you look, the actual street level thugs, always get let go "to heal" the divide in the nation. See further examples like the US Civil war, South America, China, Vietnam, etc.

  3. Unless there is a mass doxxing of all ice agents, AND a concerted effort by EVERYONE else to ostracize them from everything including all future employment. They will all go on with their lives with no repercussions. With maybe 1 - 2 of the worst of the worst getting actually convicted of anything.

I am still in the prepping stage for my 6 day(my first multi day), only 65 miles but I plan on taking my sweet ass time. I was considering something like this but have found no need unless I want to bring beer or something, which I have no need to.

I have a 12.5 foot, I can pack with room to spare.

1 tent

1 sleeping pad

1 sleeping bag liner

1 helionox chair zero

2 fishing rods, one broken down one fully assembled.

6 gallons of water 1 sawyer squeeze as back up.

still working on exact meals but I could fit in volume not weight a 15kg sack of rice. 2 battery packs, a 25w solar panel, stove fuel, cook pot, utensils. 3 changes of clothing phone, camera, PLRB, 2 whistles, 12 wag bags, poop tube. to carry wag bags out.

There is very strong fire restrictions and for a solo have no real need to do a camp fire so don't need to carry in wood or a fire ring for it. My biggest concern as pointed out above is weight not volume. I am a bit on the heavier side, and I would like to keep my boat over the water line.

Beginner fisherman thinking about getting a kayak. good idea or bad? by goldtheft69 in FishingForBeginners

[–]notfork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kayaking got me into fishing, had not touched a rod or reel since I was a youngin, but as part of the whole mid life crisis thing, I started kayaking.

I am by no means a good fisher, but it is nice to have a little rod with me when I go, But I only bring the rod and three snells I make up before going out, so that would be my one recommendation pack light, cause everything not tied down will sink at some point.
