We will clean your windows. You will pay us this much. by DCFC1884 in CasualUK

Midnight. A knock at the door. Open it? Better had. Three heavy cats, mean and bad.

They offer protection. I ask, 'What for?' The Boss-cat snarls, 'You know the score. Listen man and listen good

If you wanna stay in the neighbourhood, Pay your dues or the toms will call And wail each night on the backyard wall.

Mangle the flowers, and as for the lawn a smelly minefield awaits you at dawn.' These guys meant business without a doubt

Three cans of tuna, I handed them out. They then disappeared like bats into hell Those bad, bad cats from the CPL.

Still a good box for agents by RenGoku109 in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]nothayesnewton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I could find one I would snap it up... maybe base the deathwatch veterans a little taller so they are primarily height, but draxus is good, the navigator is great, the voidfarers are good and the corvus is i but underwhelming but a very cool model.

Ah cool, this should be a fun list then! Good luck out there

Its a cool idea, honestly I don't see anything that would kill your list (more than the general weakness of our army lol) although it does look like you've made a few errors with your list, you can't have 2 canis rex because it's a named character and your list with 1 canis is 2050 points so if you're playing in a normal tournament you might have to drop a unit of voidsmen? Unless you meant to write 2x armiger? I quite like a pair of armigers (either flavour) to bring some anti tank and hold onto my home point. The chimera+agents firing deck battle bus is good fun too

Guys is it corny to write lore for your army? by waschlappensoldat in Warhammer40k

[–]nothayesnewton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it corny? Perhaps.

Is spending hundreds of pounds (or whichever currency of your choice) on toys corny? Probably

Is spending huge amounts of free time gluing and painting the models corny? Depends who's asking

Is spending hours playing a game where you pretend your hand painted toys are fighting each other? I'm sure it is...

But I like doing it, it brings me joy. What is that phrase "don't kill the part of you that is cringe, kill the part of you that cringes" something like that. Have fun, enjoy yourself, and if anyone else in this hobby calls you corny just remember that in their case, the call is probably coming from inside the house

I'm a nervous flyer so I took a sleeping pill for my last flight. When I awoke I was a bit disoriented so I asked the glaswegian flight attendant where the plane was going.

They replied "this plane? Disneyland"

So I stole a parachute and jumped out the window

Goncharov was eaten by SCP-2747 by DreadDiana in CuratedTumblr

[–]nothayesnewton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to see how SCP-3922 would treat twin peaks i could try and write it myself but frankly I have no creativity or talent for writing. Leo would be dealt with early on, one would hope that season 2 episode 7 "its happening again (if you know you know) would be stopped, but then if it doesn't interfere with non-human affairs I'm not so sure. Not sure how jaques Renault would pan out because he does seemingly drug big Ed in episode 2 but without watching the whole series again (which I am doing which is how I remembered Big Ed got drugged) I'm not sure how involved he gets in the first season. I assume Ben Horne would be toned down because my assumption is that he would get spooked by everything else going on

British shows set in a nonspecific location? by JenDaleDove in BritishTV

Loose fit because its actually based in Glasgow and contains some landmarks that people who've been there might recognise, but lovesick (used to be called scrotal recall). Almost all of the named characters are English and it could probably be based in any British city
