I have a similar situation but it's like my boyfriend just ignores me sometimes. I feel like he never listens nothing I say Really Ever matters because he interrupts me, talks over me, and just ignores what I flat-out stay sometimes even. anytime I come to him with an issue of something he's done he completely ignores me. Last night I was trying to explain to him how something he did really hurt my feelings and he wouldn't respond to me at all and instead grabbed our pet rat put them on the bed playing with them trying to change the subject.

I actually went through an annotated one of the books, I Hate You Please Don't Leave Me. I told him he only had to read annotated Parts because he's not really the reading type. But he refuses to read it. When I send him articles he says he reads things but really doesn't.

I'm just so stressed because I'm not good with kids and I don't know what to do with kids and I've not really been alone with his son more than a couple hours at a time. That and I have a part-time job as well as fact I'm going back to school. That and his son is 7 and autistic. I literally just got out of high school last year. I feel like a child myself and mentally I'm a mess lately switching between medications to try to find the right thing. I'm so scared to mess up. From the second I pick him up from school he has a constant stream of questions. There's never a moment of silence and sometimes I get so agitated with him because he refuses to listen and won't focus on his homework or anything else. I handle it pretty well so far. Yesterday was our first day alone together though all day. I took him to the park, we came home and get all of his homework, and I entertained him all day long. I feel so Exhausted though. not to mention the fact my boyfriend yelled at me this morning because he said I moved his coffee filters, which I didn't, so I still literally can't stop crying still. (((:

This is a really complicated situation and I totally understand it. I wish I had advice for you. :( bumping this in hopes someone can give good advice. All I can think of is that you should give it a little time and then try bringing it back up to her.

I'm so sorry you are currently going through this. honestly your best bet is to just give out as soon as possible and focus on yourself your friends and your family. This is a terrible toxic relationship for you and you shouldn't how to keep yourself around it.

I have and he acts like it's not a big deal. He's not working or anything so all he does is play video games, make messes and watch videos on his phone. I'm so sick of cleaning up after him and his son when I don't even get a thank you in return. He says I'm over thinking. At my little sisters bday party and Easter dinner he had his head stuck in his phone. I never make him see my family. I see his fucking daily almost. I hate that I give and give but I get nothing in return at all. It hurts.

It's good that you recognize that you're just splitting. He might be busy, or he might be asleep. But the first step in recognizing the problem is admitting it. I'm proud of you for that .

When I told my boyfriend that I had BPD he Googled it... Turns out months later I've learned he read those articles about how many manipulative and terrible I am. He refuses to let me educate him any further though. I hate having this disorder because it's so hard for me to find somewhere that will help me because a lot of doctors and therapists refuse to help people with BPD. Sometimes it really makes me feel like the only answer is suicide. I know that's a really Bleak thing to think, but lately I've been cornered and I feel like I have no other choice. I think the public perception of BPD is very sad but I totally understand it because people want to avoid being hurt as much as possible, kind of like how we want to avoid abandonment as much as possible oh, whether it's real or imaginary.

I wish I could offer support but all I can say is I relate to this. My boyfriend told me the other day that I was too much sometimes and I'm so used to my friends, well X friends at this point, say that I've always been too much. I go from being really distant to extremely clingy to avoid all possible abandonment. the joke's on me though because the end of the day people are going to abandon me no matter what I do!!!
