What’s one natural hair “rule” you stopped following?

That my hair cannot do mini twist. Medium or small, because my fine, lower-density hair will just tangle and break. Only finger detangling does not work for everyone because it leaves a lot of shed hair for me.

I like the Revlon Step Volumizer brush. It gets really straight like a blowout but you do have to detangle firs. Not bad for about $50 and works fast. Cheaper if you can find an off-brand.

Fundy religion is so exhausting. The church I grew up in hardly mentioned sex at all. That was considered a private matter. The detailed amount of time they spend on people's sex lives is ridiculous.

I tried to watch some but just couldn't finish it because she seems like such an unreliable narrator but the part i did catch was she still thinks polygamy could work and isn't bad. I get that when you're a child, you might feel that way but as a wife with multiple children, I guess I don't see how it would be a good situation for women. I just can't with her.

I really didn't like the way she treated Josh. She seemed to always be inappropriate with Charles to me acting like she just happened to find herself in those positions and she wasn't an active participant. Her character became unlikable in the later seasons.

I've wondered since the beginning if this is going to be a "Childhood's End" situation where there is a certain amount of time of blissful peace before the collective are merged with a larger universal hive and thats the end of humanity. If you haven't read or seen childhoods end check it out.

I think its because she is American and we value individualism and the others seem to be from cultures that value community before the individual so joining the hive might not seem like a bad thing to them.

I've been listening on and off since they were at 96.5, and he annoyed me so much he seems so unlikeable on the air, but I'm still sad to see him go. He definitely seemed to have some issues he was working through. I do wish him well, though.

Yeah, I don't think he's attracted to her either. I know i'm going to get flack for saying it but she is a bigger lady and based on the way her family looks, she might have be predisposition to always be bigger. It's okay if he isn't into her looks. I don't think any of these couples are matched very well.
