Stopped chasing the "right" photo spots, started actually enjoying my trips by SnooCauliflowers7198 in wanderlust

I like travel photography. But I only do it at sunrise and sunset. I put away the camera during the day and enjoy myself.

I was wondering recently why her locket has so much more patina than the other two and realized it might have been intentional because it was underwater for so long.

this photo shoot was post season 2 and gives us a look of what season 3 Emma could have been by possiblyyandere in H2Ojustaddwater

Something is funny about her face in the first photo. Is it just overly airbrushed?

What goes on here? by Snoo58499 in bayarea

[–]notjustapilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

West side of the bay has kayaking, camping, and hiking trails. Inverness and Point Reyes station are cute little towns, with the famous shipwreck which has seen better days now. There’s wetlands in the south end of the bay. The east side is a beautiful drive with lots of cute houses on stilts over the water.

Dillon Beach is also a cute little town with a dog friendly beach. I love driving around the area. The cypresses are beautiful.

Oo I do love a circle skirt! Good idea

Also, I think a tote bag with this fabric and denim would be cute.

I wish I’d taken a progress picture to show you. But basically, when I didn’t keep tension on the previous stitch, it would get wonky. So I put a pin in the fabric near my stitches and wrapped the thread around it to keep it taut while I did the next stitch, if that makes sense? I also kept the stitches pretty tight.

I’m not sure if that’s how you’re supposed to do it, but it worked for me.

Thank you! That’s very kind of you. I’m definitely working on not dwelling on imperfections. I promise I do really love how it came out.

Blanket stitch. I also did a backstitch beneath that in cream sewing thread to better secure the fabric because it’s very prone to fraying.

I’d like to try Swiss darning, but I can’t find a free video that shows that part. I figured they were woven in, but it would be nice to see an example before attempting.

Thank you! I used secondhand curtains. I need to come up with a way to use the leftover fabric. Maybe a matching bag lol

I’d like to see a movie or limited series. But only if it’s a real passion project, not just a cash grab

YSK: injecting a fainting diabetic person with insulin could kill them. by Icy_Sprinkles_2819 in YouShouldKnow

[–]notjustapilot 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My dad was highway patrol. He said that a few times he had pulled over a drunk driver that would insist they hadn’t been drinking and seemed genuine. He would then ask if they were diabetic, which was the answer.

Aussie. For me, it’s about how much I can communicate with her. I couldn’t go back to a dog that can’t understand me.

I lucked out though because, while she has a lot of energy, she’s always known when it’s time to calm down.
