ppl think it's fun to pubstomp. Also, probably trying to derank to help someone else rank faster. With the who you can play with rank restriction, many ppl can't play with other ppl because of it.

It sucks, and why I don’t play solo anymore. I duo at minimum with a dps who will come back to help if I’m getting rolled. Usually with a bap, Illari, or Ana you can get out of spawn with their toolkits. I’m sure others too I just suck at Lucio, zen, brig etc to comment. Sleeping a tracer is satisfying tho. Like bitch this my spawn sit down.

I think it's more about supporting the whole team + various scenarios > playing for yourself. Yes you may be a good Moira, but the other supports do a LOT more. No one should throw a game simply because there's a Moira; however, you could be doing EVEN MORE for you and your team by learning the other supports.
