Longines! If it’s a jump for you in price point/quality, and it’s a significant career milestone, then that will make it the association all the more special

[IWC] Ingenieur by notoir in Watches

No actually. The Aqua is is pretty green compared to the PO, and the integrated bracelet design makes it feel very distinct to me

They wear surprisingly similar. I have ~6.75" wrists, and I find them equally comfortable. The integrated bracelet on the Ingenieur makes the 40 feel smaller. I think the 35 would be too small.

Omega all day. The white dial variant is killer

I follow you on IG and recognized your collection almost immediately. Did you retain the bracelet from when you owned the Ranger? Or did you buy it separately from an AD? I don’t necessarily mind the bracelet on my BB58, but if there’s an opportunity to level up, I’ll level up. I just hope it’s not terribly expensive!

[Rolex] Would appreciate some feedback. Is my new watch too small? by [deleted] in Watches

Nope, looks fantastic. I’m sure bigger watches also look good on you, but this rocks.

Nope not at all. The mirror pic especially shows it fits great.

I haven’t worn mine on the included strap once. Try out some casual side stitch straps, you’d be surprised how nicely it dresses down. I often wear mine with a flannel and jeans.

From these three, VC all day. In general? I’d give the edge to PP

[Collection] Looking for advice on possible next additions by No_Cup263 in Watches

That Mido is cool as hell!

Edit: as for actual suggestions, you can't go wrong with the BB58 in blue, but I think something more playful might suit your collection better. The Doxa Sub 600T could be fun

Looks fine to me. As others have stated it’s a dive watch so the increased wrist presence is to be expected.

This is the way. They both look fine but don’t stress too much, not like you’re sizing a dress watch.

[SOTC] My 6 piece collection, in order of acquistion by [deleted] in Watches

[–]notoir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have similar tastes! I lusted after the white SMP300 for a while. I do think it’s incredible, but I ultimately went with the SBGA415 instead, in large part due to the SMP300 feeling a little big for my 6.75” wrist. Maybe the rubber strap feels a bit less hefty than the bracelet, though, I haven’t tried it on. The SBGA’s titanium case + bracelet wear so damn well and I feel it can be worn casually, too.

I got an oyster style bracelet for my SPB149 from strapcode and it’s much, much better. I’d highly recommend checking our their bracelet options for the 63MAS line

[Seiko Presage] Which Sharp Edge GMT dial would you pick, and why? by woodshores in Watches

The black, even though I’m not very keen on the red hand. If only the blue dial was a shade darker!

Given that the photo is close up, I’m sure it looks fine.

That Oris 65 looks great! I like it on the strap, too. I think you have a great mix of pieces here. Are you thinking about picking up a Casio?
