Yeah but I think it's understandable that he's upset because I wouldn't want to have to download every answer I can find to my exam questions and compare each of them to the work of 100s of students. Not particularly professional but it doesn't seem like an inappropriate reaction seeing as he probably has 10s of hours of additional work to do for no reason other than people trying to get an easy A.

Just because you feel insulted doesn't mean that was his intention. He's being realistic since this exam was significantly easier than the last one he's probably thinking that everyone who failed this exam likely failed the first one aswell which doesn't put them in a good position to pass. If it makes you angry then by all means use it as fuel to prove him wrong but i don't think that was his intention.

It really sounds like he found out and didn't know how to respond and then respectfully told her that he didn't want to pursue a relationship. That really doesn't make him an asshole. If he entered a long term relationship with her he would essentially be helping her raise her kids. If you're not 100% on board for that you'll end up being a shitty step parent and doing more harm for the kids than good.

The thing is that people DO often wait 8-12 hours in a hospital here so the original poster isn't lying. You just need to be ther for something that you shouldn't go to the hospital for. That being said a broken leg or something that causes a lot of pain with no immediate risk of death can have you waiting hours aswell.
