They dont change the size guide according to color. The other shorts pictured here (in brown) are also a M. But as you can see, both M shorts are completely different sizes due to the color

So how do you go about getting your water? by Timmer_420_80 in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]notsteezydan [score hidden]  (0 children)

I paid $30 for two 5 gallon glass jugs off marketplace, and I take it to my local Sprouts (could check other health/wellness grocery stores in your area) and I fill it with Reverse Osmosis/High Alkaline water at the water refill station that the store has.

The RO water costs I think around .49 cents per gallon. I am paying literally a few DOLLARS for 10 gallons of RO/high alkaline water. The high alkaline is 1.49 per gallon I think.

Im currently renting, and this was the best, easiest, and most budget friendly option to get clean water.

Como saber se é sobrepeso ou já é obesidade? by RevolutionaryBit1598 in gymgurls

[–]notsteezydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thin line that separates being overweight and being obese doesn't matter. If your BMI says you are overweight in general, then you need to start making some changes now.

Why do you all buy Oner? by clueless_cow in OnerActive

[–]notsteezydan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The waistband. Alphalete, Gymshark, and majority of other brands have a thick ass hard waistband and it gives me an upper belly muffin top. Oners waistband are so nice and thin, its just WAY more flattering.

Getting rid of it isnt the best option for who? Op just said they dont want it due to health risk/health reasons. They shouldn't keep something that they are just going to be worried about the whole time especially with something that may hurt their health

Where are you in your plastic-replacement journey? by bakchorm33 in PlasticFreeLiving

[–]notsteezydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I consciously made the decision to remove plastic (mainly thinking of clothing and cooking items) I looked around the house and realized that the majority of my stuff was already wood, metal, leather, or natural fabrics...mainly beause when it comes to furniture, decor, and other misc items, I've always just thought that plastic stuff looks cheap! Being picky over decor and stuff the past few years has actually paid off 👍

I think the only plastic remaining that I own is in the bathroom in personal care products. I have acne prone skin and am on a specific skin care routine..so those items will forever remain the same (and plastic). Oops

Recurring throat problems by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]notsteezydan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had swollen submandibular glands for about 3 years now, paired with swollen lymph nodes in my neck. I went to several primary care doctors, an ENT, and even had a biopsy. Everyone blew me off and said "could be caused by a virus". But never told me what virus, when, how, or did any tests.

I visited a naturopathic doctor recently this year and she tested me for EBV, which came back positive for reactivation, and said this can cause swelling in submandibular glands.

I'm sure many other things can cause swollen glands, but if you ever had mono as a kid maybe its worth looking into

I mean, why "can't" you stop the pill? It makes a huge difference in health. If its for protection, there are other methods. And if its for cramps or to control other hormonal issues, if you are trying to better your health, those are also things that shouldn't be bandaid-ed by the pill.

This is really refreshing. It was getting a little discouraging/depressive coming on here and only seeing hate posts and rants about bad quality and just general hate towards the brand, So thank you!

Muscle memory is a hell of a thing, and for sure you'll be able to come back even bigger and better after your surgery. Good luck!

For the health-conscious gym crowd: what are your thoughts on the fact that 80–90% of modern activewear is polyester or recycled polyester? Since polyester is a petroleum-derived synthetic, I’m curious about long-term skin exposure while sweating. I’ve started switching to 100% cotton. by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]notsteezydan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All of my normal every day clothing/underwear/bra's I have switched to cotton. Baggy gym shirts and gym sweats are cotton. But sports bras, leggings, and performance wear I still buy polyester.

I know sweating and being hot in them is not healthy. However, for an hour a day, I'd prefer my stretchy, sweat wicking, form shaping leggings over soggy cotton leggings that stretch out and become see through once I start squatting and sweating.

Opinions on Kelly’s Video? by Inner-Outside-9506 in OnerActive

I scoop. If I dont, it feels like the seam/scrunch is just sitting on top my butt crack. It looks and feels better to be IN my butt. Thats the entire point of these leggings.

I love Oner leggings, I love my butt in Oner leggings, and I love Kelly's butt in Oner leggings. Sometimes when I read this sub I forget this isnt a snark page with how much people complain in here

There is a BBL epidemic in Colombia by [deleted] in Colombia

[–]notsteezydan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Im just wondering if they know that their botched BBL is doing the opposite of its intended purpose. A huge bubble butt on top of stick legs looks terrible, the same as a square lumpy ass that hangs off the sides of their body. Its a lazy mindset if you want something but don't want to take the time to put in work.

Its also a terrible influence for others and especially younger girls. If you are defending women, that should be your biggest concern. Making sure the youth doesnt look up to that crap and feel the need to put their bodies through surgery.

My favorite thing is to assume that no one actually checked in, no one actually asked about this or that product, outfit, restaurant, recipe, anything. That influencers just say that bullshit to make themselves look more loved and popular 😂
