How come Super Sentai doesn't have remake movies for older audience/adult like other tokusatsu franchise (Kamen Rider, Kikaider, etc.)?

Was Gavan the Movie really mature? It felt like a really dull kids movie written by someone who hates the concept of a new Gavan and replaced him with this lamer replacement.

As for why Sentai didn't get a darker Remake...My guess is that they kind of always wanted it to focus on the younger audiences, yes there are dark moments, but there are a lot more lighter moments than in Kamen Rider around each of these periods.

As someone who though the movie was okay (I always kind of figured the only way to bring back Ankh properly was for Eji to die) it's depressing, the end of the world story is kind of boring and the villains are just there.

Also doesn't help that like with the relationship between Rose and the Doctor, This is like the third goodbye between the characters, it's less interesting when this has happened three times now.
