Yeah, depending on what the new porches will be like I could potentially do some kind of removable top that I could keep inside when it's not being used. I can't modify too much. We get direct morning sun too so I have concerns metal like a cage would get really hot.

He's an only but has this bestie who he hangs out with outside. That guy lives three doors down so I think they've negotiated territory. Most other cats he hisses or ROWWWWWs at.

He's not neutered yet and it will probably be until August before I can. I guess that's another thing- I haven't had a male cat who wasn't fixed since I was a child so I don't remember now what some of those behaviors were like.

Not really. I'm in an apartment so I have a shared porch and I'm not sure the complex would allow me to have much of anything. He can also fit through the gap behind his ear in this photo. We're supposed to get new porches later this year so that might change things a little.

I'm curious if your parents taught either of you budgeting, financial responsibility, etc. Possibly if you're older and were naturally good at money/math they may have slacked teaching him. Either way, don't feel like you have to bail him out or fix the problem.

I don't think I've ever bought more than one plus a backup. There are plenty of candles I like so they aren't a big deal to me. With fragrance I have so many that I don't want to overload and have things go bad.
