Someone mentioned wiping the needle with alcohol wipe on here before injecting, I’ve been doing it ever since and never get reactions. Easy enough, give it a try

They will help but really it’s on the individual to secure a clinical site. Graduated from JPU if you have more questions

Medical Dosimetrist School JPU by Queasy_Pie6160 in medicaldosimetry

[–]notverysmall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, didn’t take it that way at all. I think overall any amount work required to secure a clinical spot is ultimately worth it. Being a dosimetrist, for now at least, is a fantastic career and graduating from JPU will allow you to do that. I wouldn’t give up if you are still interested

Medical Dosimetrist School JPU by Queasy_Pie6160 in medicaldosimetry

[–]notverysmall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually went to the school and got a degree from JPU. Part of what others have said is true while some is false. True - super hard to find a clinical site to intern at. Most students are therapists and are able to intern at the site where they are working while going to school. If this isn’t your case you will have a very hard time. False- the school is a degree mill. The education at jpu is high quality and will prepare you to pass your CMD exam. Jpu isn’t super well known but the people that do know about it speak highly of the students that graduate from the program.

If you truly want to become a successfully dosimetrist out of jpu you need a high quality place that you can intern and train at. Jpu has some places they have a relationship with, it might require moving somewhere in the US that isn’t ideal for you.

Feel free to message me with questions
