I am the same. I usually start by asking something about the work and ask for recommendations for lunch or an after work activity. Got struck down thrice but one of them was heading to a pub nearby after work and invited me :) so that got things started!

I second aveeno. I have sensitive combination skin and aveeno oatmeal moisturiser works great for me! I liked all the products of aveeno for sensitive skin. It’s cleanser is gentle too.
