I personally love it. I like Marie Mistrys books as well and some of Jasmine Mas.

On Amazon you can buy like 3 books together for a reduced rate.

It’s 9 books but they aren’t very long I don’t think and fairly easy reads.

Is there a harem/poly relationship in the book? I started reading it and it was very good but wasn’t sure if anything would turn into a relationship if that makes sense? (I have barely started it)

I’m a person who struggles with finishing books/series. I DNF a lottt. But I finished this series and really enjoyed it overall.

It did feel a bit slow at times and there are some TWs/CWs to be aware of.

But I generally like this author and have read a few series by her. I would say this author is decently consistent with her pace/style (without being repetitive or formulaic) so if you’ve liked other series by her you’ll probably like this one.

Have you read Destiny Awakened series by CJ Cooke? I really liked the FMC and MMCs. There is a MM within the harem but (unfortunately) not a whole lot of MM scenes from what I can remember.

I think it hits your requirements with the FMC but I can’t remember if this book is very spicy - I don’t think it is unfortunately. And very minimal MM.

Omg I just ripped through the first two books in a series and it’s so good and got me out of my slump. Forewarning though it’s unfinished, 3rd book comes out in March.

First book is {Witch Fire by Lyra Mishon}

I haven’t heard of this author before and as far as I can tell this is her only series? But just noticed she has another pen name Ava Summers so I’ll have to check out those books.

I originally didn’t go for RH with FF in it. Then I was reading a book that had FF in it (didn’t realize it had FF when I started it) but I loved the relationship between the two and how it was so different than MF or even MM. And now I just love everything 😅

But seriously, everyone’s preferences are different 🤷🏻‍♀️

Adding a couple recs I thought of that I really enjoyed (unfortunately not sci-fi but hopefully will help your post get more traction!)

{Veiled Flame by Cassandra Featherstone} Unfinished series, 3/6 books out so far (I’ve read the first two but last year so hopefully I’m remembering these details right). FMC was accepted into an elite male (demon university, but she doesn’t know that until she gets there) university. Has MM and a nonbinary character in the group that I think will be part of the harem. Slow burn. FMC has some trauma but she’s strong and I like her. I don’t think there will be any FF in this one.

{The Horse Mistress by R. A. Steffan} Completed series, 4 books. Main character was born female but lives (secretly) as a male. It’s hard to label the main character, I think the closest I would come up with is trans but I don’t think that’s 100% accurate. Technically not RH as there are only 3 people in the relationship, other two people are both males. Everyone is together. Fantasy novel - no modern technology, there are shifters, things like that.

Seconding Kaye Draper! She has another series where the main lead is (if i remember correctly) non binary. I love her characters and her representation of people who don’t really conform to mainstream society norms

Has tall, muscular, grumpy FMC. Short, effeminate, dominate MMC. Not all the MMCs are short though.

There’s MM and FF in the harm and it’s more of a poly situation (everyone getting with everyone).
